Conveniently located approximately halfway between Weeki Wachee Springs State Park and Rogers Park, this peaceful retreat offers the perfect balance of relaxation, adventure, and natural beauty.
Whether you`re looking to swim in refreshing 72-degree spring water, kayak alongside manatees, fish, snorkel, or simply relax on the deck overlooking the river, River Run Retreat provides an unforgettable Florida getaway.
Our cozy cabin comfortably accommodates up to six guests and features one private bedroom with a king bed, a loft sleeping area with two sets of bunk beds, two full bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, high-speed Wi-Fi, cable TV, a spacious balcony, a waterfront deck, and a private dock with direct access to the river.
The kitchen includes everything you need to prepare meals during your stay, including a Vitamix blender, espresso machine, waffle maker, crockpot, flat-top griddle, coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, cookware, and dining essentials.
Large windows throughout the home provide beautiful river views and fill the cabin with natural light.
Kayaks, life jackets, and snorkel gear are provided so you can fully enjoy everything the Weeki Wachee River has to offer. Spend your days watching manatees, fish, turtles, birds, and kayakers drift past while relaxing on the deck or exploring the river from your private dock.
The Weeki Wachee River remains approximately 72 degrees year-round, making it perfect for swimming, kayaking, and snorkeling in every season.
We fell in love with this incredible stretch of river the first time we visited and created River Run Retreat so others could experience its beauty with family and friends. While we provide modern conveniences like Wi-Fi and cable TV, we encourage our guests to unplug, reconnect, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

OCCUPANCY
• Maximum occupancy is 6 registered guests at all times.
• Only registered guests are permitted on the property unless prior written approval has been given.
• No large gatherings, parties, receptions, or events are permitted.
QUIET HOURS
• Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
• Please be respectful of our neighbors by keeping noise, music, and conversations at a reasonable level, especially outdoors.
PARKING
• Maximum of 3 vehicles.
• Park only in the driveway.
• No street parking is permitted. Vehicles parked on the street may be towed at the owner`s expense.
NEIGHBORING PROPERTIES
• Please stay on the River Run Retreat property.
• Do not enter neighboring docks, yards, seawalls, or private property without permission.
• Please respect the privacy and quiet enjoyment of our neighbors.
RIVER & KAYAK SAFETY
• Kayaks, paddles, life jackets, and snorkel gear are provided for guest use.
• Please return all equipment to its designated storage area after each use.
• Do not leave kayaks in the river overnight.
• The Weeki Wachee River has a steady current. Use caution while swimming and kayaking.
• Children must be supervised at all times near the water.
• Florida law requires each kayak to have a life jacket and whistle.
BOATS & WATERCRAFT
• Personal boats and personal jet skis are not permitted at this property.
• Please refer to the Guest Guide for approved local rental companies.
SMOKING
• No smoking or vaping is permitted inside the home.
• If smoking outdoors, properly dispose of cigarette butts and never throw them on the property or into the river.
PETS
• No pets are permitted unless specifically approved in writing before arrival.
CARE OF THE PROPERTY
• Please treat the home as you would your own.
• Do not move indoor furniture outdoors.
• Do not leave exterior floodlights on overnight, as they may disturb neighboring homes.
• Please report any damage or maintenance concerns as soon as possible so we can address them promptly.

What a beautiful home! Clean, well stocked and had everything we needed. We kayaked several times and it was amazing! Deer and manatees every day. Sitting on the back porch was just lovely, our kids could swim right off the dock. I do wish we had brought masks in snorkels with us. Tip: kayak toward the state park. It’s upriver so more of a workout but sooo beautiful and peaceful and the water was clear. We went the other direction one day and it was like a highway on the water. We did not receive any check-in information ahead of time, despite reaching out, however, upon arrival, the host was immediately responsive via text and very helpful and everything we need to know about the house was located in a book on the table. Wonderful day, would return and recommend!

We love this property and have loved staying here a few times in the past. To have a group of 7 middle aged teachers, to gather from different parts of the country to not be able to put a 4 th car in the driveway? I was actually ok with that because we agreed on three. But to be told that a neighbor told them one of us is parked on grass??? Pictures please! This came off creepy and unreasonable . Not to mention that we never parked on the grass for even a second. I have pictures of us not on the grass. We were not disrespectful. There was no harm to house or yard. We were a great group and enjoyed ourselves regardless.
