Welcome to Mountain Bear Lodge, a stunning mountain home located in quiet neighborhood minutes from downtown, where guests will enjoy incredible views of the ski mountains from every window, or from a huge deck with your very own private hot tub. Decorated in mountain country style, this 3,580 square foot home radiates comfort and coziness with plenty of room for the whole family on three levels. Shoppers will love this in-town location with a five-minute walk to Historic Main Street Breckenridge shops and restaurants or a three-minute easy walk to the free town shuttle. The great room, with its exposed logs and cathedral floor-to-ceiling windows, enjoys spectacular views of the Breckenridge ski area mountains and beyond. Relax in comfort on leather couches in front of the large rock fireplace and entertain in style in this stunning open-concept main level. Chefs will have fun in the gourmet kitchen with Viking and Sub-Zero appliances, custom cabinetry, a gas cooktop, and a large center island with seating. A dining table seats eight nearby for easy meals and conversation while enjoying the views and company. Enjoy al fresco dining in summer on a spectacular southwest-facing large deck with views of the ski mountains and town, seating, a grilling area, and a hot tub for relaxing after a long day. A cozy den off the great room features a queen sleeper sofa and is a great place to get some remote work done or to curl up with a good book. The primary king suite is on the main level and is just steps away from the hot tub and features a fireplace, TV, and a beautiful ensuite with a soaking tub and steam shower. On the upper level, guests will enjoy two more king suites with phenomenal views and a family suite with one queen and one twin bed with an ensuite bath. A king suite room is on the lower level, a spacious room with a sitting area and TV, and a private bath. Other amenities include a laundry room on the main level, a two-bay garage with parking for four cars total, a mudroom for gear storage, and a humidifier system. Four-wheel drive is required in the winter months. Regretfully, weddings and events are not permitted in Moving Mountains homes. SHUTTLE This home enjoys complimentary use of the Moving Mountains shuttle, mid-November through mid-April, using the convenient shuttle app to schedule pickups. The use of the shuttle is on a first-come, first-served basis. GUEST SERVICES Moving Mountains has a Guest Services Team, offering full-service vacation planning assistance prior to your trip. You will be assigned a dedicated specialist who will guide you through all the activities and services available. You will also have access to our online Guest Portal where you can find extensive details about your reservation, your residence, and guest services. IN HOME AMENITIES All Moving Mountains properties have WIFI and come fully stocked with paper products (paper towels, toilet paper, tissues), bathroom toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap), and detergents (dish, dishwasher, and laundry) as well as clean bed linens and towels. In addition, the kitchens are stocked with aluminum foil, plastic wrap, trash bags, sponges, soap, salt and pepper, coffee, tea, cookware, bakeware, dishes, glasses, utensils, and standard small appliances. This home does not have air conditioning. Colorado's cool summer nights will keep this home comfortable by opening windows after the sun goes down, and then closing the windows and blinds during the day. Utilizing the overhead fans, if available, keeps airflow moving, and additional floor fans can be found in many bedroom closets. Can't live without it? A/C units may be available for rent for an additional fee. The house was almost perfect! The one misleading information was that the house has six bedrooms. He only has five. There is a small office with a pull out couch, but definitely not a bedroom. Otherwise I can’t say enough good about this house and the management company. They checked on us often and the shuttle was a bonus that was so nice.

The house had plenty of room for us, places for privacy and plenty of space for gathering. We used everything from the grill to the hot tub to the swing set. The shuttle service was the icing on the cake. We were close enough to walk most anywhere but could call the shuttle for easy pickup anytime! Highly recommend for large family trips!

The bathrooms has steam showers and heated lamps for that toasty feel after a day on the slopes. We all loved hopping in the hot tub as well! The view was my favorite as I could sip coffee in the morning watching the sun rise on the snowy mountains. We all had a wonderful time!

We loved our stay at Mountain Bear Lodge. The location was perfect. Our favorite part of the house was being able to sit on the deck. it has a wonderful view of the mountains. The house was a little "tired". Several appliances in the kitchen weren't in working order (ice maker and trash compacter). The toilets seemed pretty old and were very difficult to flush. It often took several flushes. Some of the toilets continued to run afterwards. The hot tub was a little difficult to operate. We tried to follow the directions but they didn't explain the buttons on the tub. We called the hot tub company and they said they couldn't help. They told us to look up the service manual online. It was obvious from the online search that the hot tub was old. The fan in the upper main bedroom was VERY loud and vibrated a lot. We ended up using the 2 box fans we found in the closet. If it had been warmer outside we would have been uncomfortable. It was a great place to stay for the 3 of us. If I was hosting a larger group I would like something in better shape. We would recommend the house for the location, views, and the number of people it could sleep.

My family and I (6 adults and 1 infant) stayed at Mountain Bear Lodge from June 12 -19, 2021. The home is in a great location for walking to town and very close to Carter Park for tennis, pickleball, sand volleyball, frisbee in the big field and hiking or mountain biking (trailhead at Carter Trail - although there are much better trails with a short drive). Very spacious home with great amenities and a large deck with a fabulous view of the slopes. The only initial challenge was the low flow toilets but that wasn't a big deal once that was figured out and with patience. I highly recommend this home and would definitely stay here again.

Stunning Location
We wanted to get out of the heat and booked this property fairly last minute. It is a gorgeous location within Breckenridge. The views from every window were breathtaking. We didn’t want to leave. Everything in the home was great. We had everything we needed. Bring a throw blanket or two if you like to cozy up in the evenings.

We stayed here for a family wedding. We were 5 couples and the home was perfect for us. Each couple had their own bathroom. There are plenty of places to sit and chat. The house was clean and well kept. We had a wonderful time and no issues at all. The management company was very helpful upon check in. We had no reason to call them during our stay. I did email for a late check out time and they responded very quickly.
