Newly renovated cute 2 bedroom harbor beach cottage in the heart of the beautiful seaside town of Marblehead, MA. "Sea La Vie" is just steps from Marblehead harbor, downtown restaurants, coffee shops, boutique shopping and a quick stroll to the beach. There are 2 parking spots in a private driveway, but if you do not have a car no problem! You can check-out breathtaking views of Marblehead Harbor right around the corner. The cottage is located a few blocks from some of the best restaurants and shops in town. The property is within close proximity and walking distance (less than a mile) to some of Marblehead's most popular beaches and historic Old Town. This adorable harborside cottage has it all. Here is a list of amenities: - Authentic private brick patio right outside the kitchen dutch door - Modern, fully stocked kitchen with updated appliances and quartz countertops designed for cooking & entertaining - and a Nespresso machine! - Updated technology including: key-free lock system (with personal entry code), Ring doorbell system, Nest thermostats, Echo smart speakers, Free High-speed internet & Wifi. - Living room with plenty of comfortable seating, 55" Roku Smart TV, books, playing cards and board games. - 2 quiet second-floor bedrooms each with new queen-size mattresses, luxury mattress pads, down comforters and ample closet space - Master bedroom comes equipped with a 32" mounted Roku Smart TV - Complete work station with desk and comfortable chair - Newly renovated bathroom - marble vanity and rainfall shower - Fully equipped washer and dryer - Shed is equipped with beach chairs and kid toys for those summer days! My family had a great trip and loved this property! Decor is really beautiful and simple and coastal- all bringing in the local feeling of this New England coastal town. The kitchen and bedrooms had everything we needed. My niece slept on the pull out couch (15yo) and was very comfortable. The beds upstairs also gave great nights’ sleep and we were all happy. This house was just enough for us (2 adults and 4 kids 15,13,10,7.) We kept noticing little pops of character and thoughtfulness throughout our stay. Cute decorations and quality amenities! There were THREE different coffee makers! And since I love coffee, this impressed me! (A regular machine, a keurig and a nespresso.) My 7yo daughter was up early every day, and we found a stash of board games to keep us busy and quiet.
Also, this home is nicely located for visiting Salem and Boston. We did some history and ghost tours in Salem and also visited some Boston colleges. This property is only about a block from the town center, too, and there is great shopping and plenty of food- coffee, boba, cafe and snack options! A short walk in the opposite direction put us on the water- so beautiful!
Would certainly come here again!

Just outside of Salem, it truly felt like a home away from home. We enjoyed spending the nights in watching horror movies. Perfect for families.

This was our first vacation to the area. It is absolutely beautiful! And the rental home was fabulous & very clean! It is centrally located within walking distance to the ocean. And just a 15 minute drive to Salem. Our vacation was centered upon Salem, but the town of Marblehead is quaint with cute shops too. We had a wonderful time! Thank you!

Wow! I can not say enough good things. We were nervous about staying out of Salem.. when that’s what we came to see. Marblehead was amazing . Quiet, safe, peaceful. We could have spent a whole day exploring Marblehead if he had time! Shubies grocery had everything we needed. The staff was beyond lovely, including Mr. Shubie himself. Lol! Girls trip… all healthcare workers… needing some fun, quiet, good food and hilarious moments. This beautiful home had everything we needed for the perfect trip. And given that we ate .. and drank.,, in the house a lot… they had more than enough dish ware to create beautiful meals and the happiest of happy hours. A perfect reprieve from the craziness of Salem…. And our lives;) Exactly what we needed. Thank you.

We loved our time on this sweet street and neighborhood. Kitchen and dining room table area are perfect for visiting. Outdoor space with comfy chairs was a bonus. Excellent location for walking and running. We were in Marblehead for an event and had a great time with this homebase that really felt like home.

We loved our stay at Rob and Sarah's cottage. The house is in a great location not far from the beach and numerous lovely restaurants. The house is spacious, has all the amenities you may need, is beautifully designed and clearly taken care of with much love. There are two parking spaces. The owners were very helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend!

Our vacation exceeded our expectations. The property was perfect. It felt like a home rather than just a house. Rob was great as the owner. Very communicative and helpful. We would definitely come back. Marblehead was the prettiest place and exemplified what I though of as a beautiful New England town.

Adorable home in a gorgeous neighborhood. Short drive to everything we wanted to see and do. Spare fans were a bonus for us. We are from Texas where we sleep with one on all year round lol. Would definitely recommend!

Outstanding cottage and excellent location. Easy 15 min drive into Salem for Halloween festivities. Location is just a 5 minute walk to Atlantic Ave Marblehead coffee shops and shopping. Amazing views from overlook one block away, and easy 40 minute drive from Logan Airport. Owners are great and available if you have questions. Would stay again.

From start to finish this was a great experience! The owners were very communicative & punctual. Their home was beautiful, modern and had every amenity one could want. We could not have been happier and thank Rob & Sara for the superior hospitality. Highly recommend.

My girlfriends and I have been planning for years to do the Salem trip. When we couldn't find anything in Salem I came across this cute and beautiful place! It did not disappoint one bit! The place was so clean and the location was perfect! They also had some great restaurants right there in Marblehead. We also walked down to the water for the views . It was honestly perfect for us and I will most definitely be coming back with my husband. The only thing it was missing was a full body mirror for us ladies, other than that it was great! The owner was also wonderful for contact for us! Thanks for an amazing stay and experience!

We stayed for a friend's wedding, and it was the perfect stay! Walking distance to little shops - also next to a CVS, which was very helpful. The house was incredibly clean and just adorable - highly recommend it!

Marblehead is our home town so we have visited family many times over the years. This was our first time staying in this house and it was perfect for our needs. While in a quiet residential part of town, it was still walkable to downtown, shops, restaurants and the water, for those who like to walk. The entrance to the house is one step up from street level for visitors that have mobility issues and that was a plus for potential family we might have invited over. It is also quiet and picturesque, near the water on a pretty street. Parking was very, very easy. There is a great driveway and plenty of on street parking. The house was very attractive, well laid out and clean. We really enjoyed sitting out in the front yard at night. It was fun to see people walking by with their dogs, even a cousin happened to walk by and stopped to say hello, it felt like we were home. The instructions left by owners were very clear and easy to follow and the amenities were very thoughtful. As travelers away from our homes we are often in the position to receive hospitality from local family. It's a nice switch to be able to invite a couple local family members over to where we are staying for a simple deli lunch when we are in town. We were very comfortable doing so in this space. The living room, kitchen and dining room areas are pretty, bright, airy and uplifting and had everything we needed to feel at home. It's a very comfortable, well appointed and welcoming home. I highly recommend staying at this property. I'm sure we will visit again!

The house and neighborhood were perfect for our little wedding getaway! Plenty of parking, well stocked kitchen, lots of blankets and entertainment. The town of Marblehead is adorable as well. Rob was super responsive and thorough in all his instructions. Overall it we loved the house and Marblehead! Highly recommend!

Beautiful home located right near Central Avenue, which is very walkable to most stores, pharmacy, ice cream, etc. The house was immaculate and decorated very nicely, with a beach feel which was perfect for relaxing with family. The owners were very nice, pleasant to deal with, and easily accessible when needed. We all are looking forward to returning to this property on our next trip to Marblehead!

The best location in Marblehead!
We've rented locations in Marblehead several times and this one is just perfectly situated and gorgeous. It's clearly all been recently redone in a darling seaside theme and it's just so, so charming. It has everything you need and you can walk to anywhere in town very easily. Highly recommended for a small family or two couples.

Beautiful little, house in a fun, old town
The house is just as nice as it looks in the photos: everything is in great condition, nicely decorated, and very comfortable. It's small, but not at all cramped. We traveled with a toddler, and appreciated that one of the bedrooms had a large enough closet for him to sleep in his pack-n-play. And we loved the relatively private patio space. It's also located in walking distance of both the town center (5min walk) and the more historic section of Marblehead (10-15min walk). The host was also very communicative and accommodating. The place was everything we expected and more. We'd love to visit Marblehead again, and when we do, we'll definitely stay here again.
