The backyard is very spacious including the pool area, eating/grilling area (with awning) and covered porch. A new screened in back porch sits off the master bedroom. In addition to new landscaping, there is a pooch and people washing area for your return from the beach. Beach carts, beach chairs, beach towels are provided for your time at the beach and exciting outdoor games when at the pool. Have you every played Yard Yahtzee? Updated furnishings throughout the home , all beds are king and queen, and so much more! This is not only a place to enjoy the beach or pool, but a place to unwind and relax indoors. Heating Pool Pool can be heated, Late April-May and September-October. A heating charge will be applied if you want to heat the pool. Please notify me a week prior to your visit to turn it on. It is a heat pump heater so it may not heat to 85 degrees in cool/cold cloudy weather. But, it makes a comfortable difference! Important! I just have to say we LOVED this house from start to finish! We traveled with friends & kids from all over (LA, Nashville, Lexington) and it was so nice not to have to pack everything under the sun because of how equipped the house was. They had everything you need for the beach- carts, chairs, towels etc. The house itself had everything you needed as well! They even provided each bathroom with a makeup towel which was such a nice touch. The house was super clean, had a great layout, and was a 5 min. walk to the beach! I think every day we talked about how much we loved Marty as a host and the house itself. We are definitely planning on booking again, couldn't imagine staying anywhere else now after having such a great experience!

Our family had a great time at the Folly field beach house. The house was in a great location about a 5 minute walk to the beach. The house was perfect for our family of 8. It was very clean and had all the amenities. The house is even better in person than pictured and great for our two dogs.

Absolutely loved 44 Folly Field Rd! A cute home with everything you would need. There were 10 of us and we had plenty of space. The location is perfect! We enjoyed our days at the beach and then coming back and hanging by the pool playing games. Was a great week of fun memories!

Our family (7 adults) had a great week at this beautiful home! It is in a great location, close to the beach, close to shopping, close to groceries and restaurants! The house is comfortable, clean and fully stocked with anything (cooking, board games, a pool...) you might need! Plenty of room to spread out either outside or indoors. Had a slight tv issue and got an immediate response from the owner....quickly resolved! We highly recommend this house!

A clean, beautiful home that accommodated our family of 9 really well. It is a close walk to a beautiful beach and an easy drive to good restaurants and about an hour into Savannah. We had a great time!

Everyone was SO THRILLED with this property! It was our first time in Hilton Head and we didn't know anything about the area. After sightseeing the island, we decided that Folly Field Beach was perfect...and we plan to re-book. The home was decorated beautifully, lots of renovations (with more to come) and plenty of space for everyone. The backyard was a perfect oasis and our furry family enjoyed it to the max as well. The owner was attentive in every way and I HIGHLY recommend this property...guaranteed not to disappoint!

Exceptional house for two families!

This house had everything, and it is setup wonderfully for two families. The owners have attended to EVERY DETAIL—from beach chairs and carts to a comfy dog bed that our dog loved. Kitchens are perfectly stocked with everything we needed (but nothing more to make it junky). House was beautifully decorated and so comfortable. Our two families could really spread out AND come together for an amazing week. Owners go above and beyond to respond to questions.

This is a great house and worked perfectly for us. We had 10 guests (3 families) and each family was able to have essentially its own wing of the house. They have great quality items to use as well, such as All-Clad pots & pans which was a nice touch, and it was a great location so close to the beach. We would definitely consider renting this property again when visiting Hilton Head Island.

The house itself was well updated and was much larger than expected. The backyard/pool area were great for relaxing and the beach was just a short 2-3 minute walk. I would stay here again with family or friends. Highly recommend.

We loved the layout of this house. It was perfect for my husband and I to be close to our toddler as she slept in the room beside the master and for our teenager to spread out with the loft area to herself! The grandparents also had ample room & their own private bathroom. We loved that the house was loaded with all the things you might need (dryer sheets, paper towels, toilet paper, spices and cooking supplies). The beach carts and chairs were extremely useful as were the pool toys! You can’t beat having access to the private pool & the beach truly is only about a 5 minute walk that is sidewalk or paved the entire way! Perfect for pushing our toddler in the stroller! The small things in the house made a huge difference to me, like the laundry baskets in each closet, doggie treats & bags for cleaning up after them, the complimentary cookies and wine, and reusable make up towels. I absolutely loved that the pool has a large shallow area before the steps into the deep. This was perfect for our toddler to splash and play in! However, the pool was pretty dirty when we arrived and the outdoor garbage cans were full. The home does provide nets for the pool so we cleaned up as much as we could before swimming. About halfway through our stay the garbage was taken & the pool was professionally cleaned (Wednesday). I don’t believe this was the owners fault, just a matter of the garbage pick up & pool cleaner schedules not overlapping with check-in dates. Overall, our stay was amazing and we 10 out of 10 would come back! One of the best beach houses we have ever stayed at!
