Will give the positives first - very safe place - gate guard awesome - pool area nice and clean size of the property great for big groups -beds were comfortable Now for the negative - was greeted by such a bad fish smell inside we purchased candles and plug ins to try and get rid of the smell- ( they did respond after we had gone to store to see if they could do something told them we already took care of it ) master bathroom we complained about tub not draining drain full of hair water puddle at feet (nasty) water pressure horrible should say none toilet broken needs to be resealed to the floor - second bathroom upper level shower curtain stained and mildew - washing machine needs to be cleaned smelled moldy (they make Tide cleaner for that) we departed 2 days early was frustrated simple things weren’t fixed.

We stayed in “Emerald Palm” over Thanksgiving. Immediately upon arrival the first evening, we noticed there was no internet inside the unit, and the wifi was not working as well. We called and spoke to a Vacasa rep who said they would send someone by in the morning. In the morning, we discovered some more specific information upon investigating….the wifi router was missing the cable. We texted back and forth several times with vacasa that morning with those specifics, and they said someone would be by. No one ever came by the whole stay to help us solve the problem. Additionally, the air conditioning downstairs was not working at all. We were planning to tell the rep when they came by to help us with the above problem, but unfortunately that never happened. Obviously, being without any access to cell service or air conditioning downstairs in the unit, despite it being advertised, was a huge issue. We would have never chosen the unit had we known the above basics would not be present. And the empty promise of sending someone to help us is clearly poor service. We feel that we should be compensated for these significant deficiencies. I have since emailed about this, and only received a stock reply saying someone will get back to me. No one has.

We enjoyed this property, the property was beautiful the amenities were nice and it was a good location. It would have been nice to have more practical items available, we didn’t have enough forks. We really could have used and ice chest, or something like fishing poles would have been a great addition. The remotes for the lights weren’t labeled and one remote would turn on lights for 2 rooms which became problematic when someone was trying to sleep and we couldn’t get both lights to turn off at the same time. If you turned one off the other would turn on. They had beautiful furniture and decorations, but no spices not even salt and pepper which was a bit disappointing. Overall the place was great for a family of 10, plenty of places to sleep and games to play on site. We enjoyed our stay overall but had some little frustrations as well.

Expensive. Sleeping arrangements were a little bit Deceiving truly only slept three couples in the bedrooms. We had four couples with us so one couple left and got a different room down the road so they could have privacy

This is a great condo for a big group. Our group loved the game room area and that there was a bed for everyone. Only issue with our stay was some hot/cold water issues with the showers upstairs. Other than that, we loved the place!

"This was a 10/10 stay After staying in multiple units throughout the upper and lower keys , unit 905 shines above the rat . We comfortably slept 10 people. The kitchen is stocked very appropriately, all the entertainment systems are top-notch with TVs in every room that work. There is even a game room downstairs that the kids loved with a pool table. The unit was exceptionally clean and comfortable throughout. The proximity to the marina and the logistics in Key Largo are perfect for any vacation. If you’re looking for a top-notch stay in a luxury unit look no further than this unit. Enjoy it !!"

Things to take into consideration: if you are traveling with more than your family, do NOT get big SUV’s or trucks - there won’t be room to park them. We have mid-sized cars, two of them, and really has to maneuver to get parked. The other HUGE caution - there really needs to be a sign to remind people about the weird step down from the front door to the basement level. Those stairs, and the main stairs upstairs are no where near to being code. We had one of our people come in from her morning walk (so no alcohol involved :-) and she fell and ended up on crutches and eventually a knee scooter and is heading back to Denver to make a surgery appointment. If you have Little’s be VERY cautious on the main stairs. But truly - this place is excellent!! We would stay here again in a heartbeat, very comfortable and, when we needed something, the management group was prompt with their responses. Terrific place! Ohh the pool is really cool too — except for the lizard poop on the edge of the pool water that, when asked if they could clean it up they said “it’s just lizard poop” as the pool water lapped against it ….) But truly - it is a great place! These are just words of caution :-)
