Walk out the front door for the many forest hiking trailheads around the corner or stroll the friendly neighborhood, including Lake Odell one mile away. Enjoy several outdoor activities (fishing, kayaking, biking, cornhole, bird-watching, star-gazing). Warm wood tones and comfy plush furniture welcome you to relax after your day of fresh mountain air adventures. Kick-back in a hammock or the LoveSac to escape in your favorite book or play family-friendly board games Two decks, one covered, offer space for outdoor dining or relaxing while you soak up the serene surroundings. Enjoy home cooking in the fully equipped kitchen or outdoor grilling with a propane BBQ grill. After dinner, sit around the propane fire-pit and roast s’mores. Primary bedroom with king-sized premium mattress and full bath on main floor. Two more bedrooms upstairs with a half-bath. Bedroom 2 has a premium queen and bedroom 3 has two full beds and two twin mattresses (one a trundle). A mini-split on the main floor provides primary heating and cooling. We had a wonderful time at this house in Munds Park. Richard was super communicative and the house was set up to perfection. Our kids loved the upstairs room and exploring the outside spaces. My husband and I loved the neighborhood and the peaceful front yard where we could have our coffee or wine and greet everyone walking by. We hope to return to Richard’s awesome cabin!

This house has everything! It’s so cozy and clean, the kids enjoyed having their own rooms upstairs while the master bedroom was downstairs. Livingroom is very spacious, complimentary coffee as well as shampoo/conditioner was a great plus! The neighborhood is beautiful, short trip to Sedona and Flagstaff. Owner was very responsive and checked in regularly. If we make it back this way, we are definitely staying here again. Thanks Rich!

My family enjoyed our time at this property. Our children from 7 to 6 months had plenty of room to play and sleep. Downstairs is very open and bedrooms are large. Office space was used for two weeks without complaints.

My family and I stayed at Richard's place for the weekend. We enjoyed hanging out in the backyard, walking around the neighborhood and a easy trip to Flagstaff. I have a 1 year old and 3 year old and the whole house was set up great to have kids.

This was my first time booking a VRBO and the greatest experience. Our host Richard made it so easy and so caring to make sure we were ok in addition to his thoughtfulness with fresh cinnamon bread upon our arrival. His beautiful cabin is exactly what everyone needs. It had everything plus so cozy. The beds and couch was so comfortable. Munds Park is also a really cute town with the kindness and most helpful people. We loved the coffee shop and the convenient stores had everything we needed. If your looking for a romantic getaway or a beautiful time with your family BOOK THIS CABIN.

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean and had all the amenities we were looking for. It was an easy trip to Sedona and Flagstaff, plus we made a day trip to the Grand Canyon. It’s a great property for a family seeking to slow things down.

Very clean property. Richard was very helpful and had such great communication. We had everything we needed minus bath soap (there was shampoo but no body soap) so had to go out and buy it but that just might be us not having stayed at many VRBOs so not knowing it is standard to bring your own. I would say the property was a success for what my family needed for our trip!

Rich's cabin in Munds Park was just what we needed. It was well-lit and comfortably warmed for our late evening arrival. Location is a 5 minutes walk to the national forest and the Crystal Point trailhead. We picked up a few groceries in Camp Verde on our way from Phoenix, and the cabin had everything necessary to prepare some simple meals. Touches that I appreciated: lots of hooks for hanging outerwear and layers, iPhone recharging station, hammock in the trees for when the day warmed up, fresh-baked cinnamon bread to welcome us. Rich was super-responsive and went above and beyond to help make sure our stay was perfect.

We enjoyed our stay and would book again. Cabin was older and could definitely use some updated flooring but it was very clean and had nice new towels and necessary items for cooking. I would recommend getting a toaster vs toaster oven. The tvs worked well for evenings and the owner was extremely quick in responding when we had questions. Great location and nice hammock to read on !

Fabulous place. Fabulous host. Great communication! Very nice spot in the neighborhood. Very clean and well kept. It has great front and back porches for board games and hanging out. There are plenty of books for kids. It was great It has all the necessities and the nice to haves too. Came with coffee ;-). I would not hesitate to stay here again, in fact I hope too. Thanks for letting us stay!

This property is a gem. Lovely Escape From The Daily Grind and heat in Phoenix or the telecommuters dream. Great location great host we cannot wait until we get to go again. Spacious cabin suits for a couple or family. Close to hiking, biking and Motorsports. We are planning our next visit.
