Nestled in Munds Park, this lovely cabin for $186 per night is a great choice for your next break. NOTE...We keep it clean. We value your safety and are doing our part to clean the frequently touched surfaces before you arrive. The backyard is 200+ square miles of national forest, complete with elk, deer, and all sorts of other wildlife. Very private location and a great spot for a relaxing time in the mountains or as a place to get away and entertain family & friends after a day on the slopes, sledding, hiking, day trips with the kids. One master bedroom sleeps 2 in a queen sized bed. The loft comfortably sleeps 4 in a queen and two twin beds. There is also a Murphy bed in the second living room to sleep 2 more. An adult can sleep on the couch and a child can seep on the loveseat. Total bed space is 10 people. The main family room is a great space for reading or any other relaxing activity. Tongue & groove pine with a stone fireplace and 60 inch TV gives the place a real old time cabin feel. This room is a wonderfully quiet space to read by the fire. Attached is the dining room with adjacent kitchen. The newly remodeled and fully furnished kitchen includes all the comforts of home, including: a microwave, stove, oven, dishwasher, coffeemaker, breakfast bar, full sized fridge/freezer with icemaker, and all utensils. There is even a gas grill outside. The back half of the cabin - with national forest views through almost every window - can be closed off from the sleeping, reading, eating area - for entertaining. This is a great feature if you don't want to wake up the kids while you play pool, cards, or watch a movie or game on the 60 inch LCD. There are two entertaining rooms, a laundry, and a full bathroom. One room contains a 60 inch HDTV with a love seat and sofa in addition to the 8 foot pool table. The other room contains a dining table, pellet stove, and full sized Murphy bed. You can walk out the large sliding door to step into the backyard for a private national forest view. The Murphy bed also takes advantage of the view as it is on the opposite wall from the large glass door. Out front there is a massive new (2020) covered porch with a porch swing and outdoor dining table. It is a great spot to sit and watch the storms boil up and over the hill during the summer months. Our cabin is a short drive from Phoenix - as little as 1.5 hours from the north side. Come up stay at our place. We have had countless wonderful weekends with our family over several decades. If you enjoy walking/hiking the woods you’ll really like this place. A few steps and you’re out in it. If you’re a start gazer be prepared to be amazed. Being from the city I was totally amazed at how many more stars are in the night sky. Since we went in November we had to get used to the pellet stoves for heat. Not a big deal at all.

Great short weekend visit. The house had everything we needed and more. Home was clean and had plenty of space. Owner had open communication and was available for questions. Only thing I would recommend is buying new pool table supplies.

We all really enjoyed our stay at this cabin! With 3 dogs, 3 kids and 4 adults, we were quite the crew! It didn’t feel at all cramped or uncomfortable. It was cozy and a great place to come “home to” after our long days of touring Sedona and the Grand Canyon. I would highly recommend this place for any group!

Stayed here for 5 days before Christmas. Was hoping to stay past Christmas, but it was booked. Our family and dog enjoyed the forest right in the backyard. Our dog loved playing and exploring the snow. House was nice and cozy. The house use wood pellet stoves and portable heaters for heating. First time I have used a wood pellet stove. Quick communication with the owner as he responded to texts right away. We left some items after our stay and was able to pick them up a week later. Would definitely stay here again if we want to get up north from Phoenix and enjoy the cooler weather and forest for a backyard!

Our family had a wonderful stay at this Cabin! Brad was very helpful when I had questions and called him. There was plenty of room for our whole family and the younger boys loved being able to go outside and explore the National Forest area out back. The extra "Great room" was a plus, the kids loved playing pool together and in the evenings we would watch a movie together. The cabin is also very close to Flagstaff so we were able to take a few quick trips to explore and also grab groceries and be back in no time. Overall, our whole family really enjoyed this stay and if we are ever in the need of a few quiet days in the mountains we would definitely choose this cabin again.

We loved the area, although we wished we could have seen more of it. We had quite a bit of snow. Luckily we had plenty of supplies and the cabin was warm and cozy. We had a few issues with the snow(we weren’t expecting quite so much), but the owner came and plowed us out the day before we needed to leave. Brad, the owner, was very responsive to any concerns we had and if we had questions, we got answers right away. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back. This was our first Vrbo experience and it was very pleasant.

This is our second year at this cabin. I’m sad we missed the snow but the nearby state parks didn’t disappoint. We were able to take our off road toys out for a spin and have a picnic. Nights are so nice and quiet and we okay games and pool. Plenty of room for our family! We will be coming back for years to come!

My family enjoyed our stay in this cozy cabin. When we arrived, it was snowing outside and we entered the cabin to find the pellet stove lit and warm. Everything we needed was provided. The kitchen was well stocked, including basics like cooking oil and spices, and there were plenty of blankets and towels. The cabin is spotless! We have never stayed in such a clean vacation rental. Usually I can find a dirty door handle or a grimy baseboard but the cabin is sparkling clean. The cabin backs up to the forest so it is very peaceful and quiet. Even though there was snow on the ground, we used the outdoor grill. My family loved taking daily walks in the neighborhood. We hope to visit again in the summer!

The photos on the listing don't do the house any justice. It was very nice and so clean when we arrived. I had a question on how to use the pellet heater when we got there and Bradly responded very quickly. The beds were comfy and our family really enjoyed the pool table. Looking forward to booking again for our next trip up north!
