Located in Wisconsin, this charming house for $250 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Beautiful raised ranch home in the country on 7+ acres of lawn, woods, and fields. Upper level has hardwood floors, large open concept kitchen living room area with patio door to a 12'x24' deck, master bed w/bath, two additional bedrooms and full bathroom. The walk out lower level has a large main room with sofa bed and kitchenette, two bedrooms, a bathroom with shower and a single car garage . Large windows in every room to enjoy the marvelous views. Only 8 miles south of Interstate 90 at Tomah, WI, and 3 miles north of Wilton WI (heart of the Elroy/Sparta bike trail). Canoeing on the Kickapoo in Ontario WI is 11 miles away, as well as Amish shops to explore. Forty-five minutes away from The Dells (to the South) and La Crosse, WI and the Mississippi river (to the West). Only 20 miles to Ft. McCoy with skiing, tubing and snowboarding available. Or bring your own sleds and enjoy the hill directly in front of the house (the house faces the driveway, not the road).

We greatly enjoyed our stay once again at the property. It is a nice midway point for our family travelling from different states. The house and location are great. We love the layout, the furnishings, and the decorations in the home. We appreciate having the Christmas tree up to put our gifts under. Fun was had by all. We look forward to booking here again in the future!

My family and I had a wonderful stay over Christmas 2023. The property is beautiful and quiet. Pictures do not do it justice. The views from the house of rolling hills are stunning. The house is very welcoming and cozy, and we all felt like we were at home. It was clean and well equipped. Beds were comfortable. The kids were happy to find the toy closet! There was a Christmas tree and lit garland inside, and some lights on the outside. The host responded to messages in a friendly and timely fashion. Wifi was adequate for video streaming and staying connected. Overall, Rose does a really nice job hosting and I would definitely recommend this property.

The house worked great for our group. There was plenty of room for everyone. The area is beautiful. We enjoyed using the fire pit on the crisp evenings. We would be happy to stay again.

We all enjoyed our girls weekend away. There was plenty of space for all of us and we were able to use the space to make meals and play games. No issues! Private space and balcony were lovely!

The house and location was beautiful!! We traveled many of the back roads on our Harleys and they were awesome (except all the gravel roads) plent of room at this house for bigger groups… only complaint was the garage wasn’t big enough for all the bikes but it never rained so we were good!! Thanks for sharing your house

Place was immaculate, well stocked and lots of comfy beds! Just perfect for a long over due family reunion. Out in the country but an easy drive to the dells for day trips. Beautiful setting!

We were looking for a place where we could relax with our family. The home was beautiful and had enough room for our family. The area was quiet. Some of our family enjoyed walking the Sparta bike and hiking trail and others enjoyed a museum in Tomah. Afterwards everyone returned for a relaxing evening. This was the first time we stayed in a vacation home and we will definitely do it again. It was great.

This home was perfect for our 2 families (Myself, my husband, my son, and my sister with her husband and 3 kids). The kitchen was well stocked and the kids had plenty of toys to keep them entertained. The yard was also perfect for the kids to run around and follow the 2 cats around which the kids named Stella and Susie! Also, check in and check out was so easy! Rose made it so we didn't have to do much and we could we could just enjoy being there with our family. She was also very responsive when we had questions for her! Thank you again for letting us enjoy your home! It was wonderful!!

The house is set in rolling hills in the country. The beds were comfortable and there's plenty of space to gather either upstairs, downstairs, around the kitchen table, or on the deck. A few miles away from the state park bike trail. The kitchen is well equipped with whatever you need. Thank you!

The family loved the property. Plenty of space for everyone to have some privacy. When it came to meal time the kitchen and surrounding area is large enough for everyone to gather. The kids and adults loved sledding down the hill.

Opening the door felt like coming home! Clean, spacious, relaxed decor which was perfect for our family retreat. Quiet and beautiful surroundings (along with unseasonably warm February weather!) made for great walks and photo opportunities. Rose was quick to respond to any inquiry beforehand and was available if needed during our stay. And everything was well stocked for large groups - dishes, towels, pillows, paper products! We come to the Tomah area every year for a pool tournament held by the Monroe County tavern league, to raise money for their safe ride program. We have always stayed in the smaller mom and pop motels. On a whim, we decided to check out VRBO property availabilities. We found this one, that has enough sleep space for up to 14 people (there's 10 of us in our group). It was perfect for us! The kitchen/dining area is quite large with a huge table that we were all able to gather around for meals and cards and comradery. We never battled for a bathroom, as there are 3 of them. And everything was provided, unlike many other places where you have to take your own towels, paper products, coffee filters, etc...We will definitely be back. The only drawback may be that if the winter weather is nasty, the roads may be a little dicey, you would most likely need 4 wheel drive.

Great location to destress, Extremely well stocked kitchen (enough plates for the 10 of us to eat and snack without having to do dishes). Well stocked towels in bathrooms. Beds were very comfy. Felt like we were in our own home. Loved this house and Rose was easy to communicate with. Definitely would recommend and we will put this on our list to stay again in the future.

The house had plenty of room for the 8 of us enjoying a weekend away. Luckily we had great fall weather and the large deck allowed us to enjoy it. Rose was responsive and accommodating. Went to a restaurant in Wilton where the food was okay but the people were very friendly.

Rose was the BEST property Manager I've ever worked with. The house was very clean. The kitchen had everything you need. Plenty of plates, silverware, glasses, pots and pans, etc. Plenty of towels and wash clothes in the bathrooms. The main floor was laid out nice for our group of 10 to visit, play games and watch the Packer Game. We also enjoyed sitting around the firepit in the evening. The stars and quite was appreciated by everyone. The area the house is in is hilly, rural and beautiful. We biked the El Roy Sparta Trail. One of the trail heads is less than 4 miles from the house in Wilton. Would highly recommend staying here

This was an absolute excellent property. Huge house with plenty of space to play outside! Our group of five couples with kids had wonderful stay at this beautiful house that had everything you need it. Well equipped with extra blankets, full shelves of towels, even toys for kids!!! And I have to say that the house was very CLEAN and there was nothing you could find to complain. The area is very quiet, we enjoyed sitting next to the fire pit. The house and location are beautiful. The pictures are accurate. Rose was quick to respond to my emails. There was nothing that we needed that wasn't there already. The house was exactly as advertised. We appreciated the extra blankets, the hand crafted soaps & the quiet surroundings. We had 2 families with kids from age 7 & up we biked the nearby Elroy-Sparta bicycle trail (10 min away), kayaked the Kickapoo river, (20 min away) & floated in the Mill Bluff State park swimming hole (20 min away). We appreciated the outdoor gas grill and fire pit.

It was a very well stocked very clean home!! Out in the country with plenty of space and privacy!! We have rented many vrbos over the years for our annual motorcycle trip and this is by far the best one we have stayed in!! Had nine adults and was plenty of room for all of us!! This property was perfect for our families. The kitchen and main living areas are in the middle of the first floor allowing for a lot of privacy with the master bedroom and bath. We enjoyed the inside spaces as well as the outside spaces like the deck and fire pit area. This was a perfect place for our family to gather.
