Was in town for a wedding so decided to get a place near the beach with some other family members. We had the best time. The property was amazing. We felt famous for the weekend. The walk to the beach was quick and scenic and of course the beach was gorgeous as always. Can’t wait to rent again!

I did advise suncoast rental the issues I had via email, never heard back from them. 1. The room that had a pull out sofa was missing the small internet box for the TV.2. The queen room next to the bunkbed room the tv doesn't work. I did call and you guys did call and asked me to unplug and restart, but I was at the beach. I did try it, but no luck, I did call you guys to let you know, I was surprised to see that no one came to the house to check it. That was disappointing. There was no tv remote, just cable remoteThis same room as you open closet door in the split the hinges are coming off.The bathroom vent in this room doesn't work.3. The washing machine isn't running through its cycle we went to dry the clothes and there was still water sitting in it. We had to start it over on a different setting for it to run through the cycles.The dining room chairs are awful they are loose and 2 of them feel like it's going to break, they look like they have been repaired several times, that is dangerous. Owners should look into getting better chairs.The 3rd floor screened patio has lots of holes there were wasps all the time we were killing them left and right. Your company sent someone, but all they did was get a can of fly killer and spray them. Didn't look for nests, which there looked to be one on the 2nd floor patio, ashame we couldn't enjoy it more, had to go in because of the wasps. The pool had to be filled up everyday, there is definitely a leak somewhere. The interior pool has cracks and chips on the sides. The pool pump must be on something that vibrates that side of the house. The few times we were on the patio all you hear is a humming. It's annoying!!The house is beautiful and I am not sure if previous guests have complained about the same issues, it can be a great home once things get taken care of. Thank you

This house had everything we needed for a month’s stay. The elevator was a great thing for us. The Plantation’s biking/walking trails and the nature trails to the beach were just what we were looking for. Because it was February, the bugs were minimal. Pool and its surrounding area was a plus. Beautiful home, well maintained and exceptionally clean. One of the most fully stocked kitchens in a rental I have ever seen! Each bedroom has a bath which was so convenient. The multiple screened in, covered decks allowed for privacy. I would recommend this home to any family looking for plenty of space, nice pool area, with a leisurely 5 minute walk down a nature trail to the beach.

The house was clean. Check in/out was very easy. We were able to have both be contactless. Everything was in working order and the elevator was priceless. The kitchen/den was on the third floor, so to get all of our supplies there would have been difficult. My niece enjoyed the pool.

House was clean and kept is good condition. My only complaint is that they want you to do all the dishes and put them away before you leave, but there was no dish soap there. You have to make sure you budget time to run the dishwasher and be able to put dishes away before you leave.

The stay was okay. No TV All Week. The maintenance guy said he has to come to this property a lot for this reason. I suggest the owner get it fixed. Next time I will ask for another place to stay.

The property was as described in the listing and check in/out process was clear and efficient. The majority of our stay included 4 adults and three kids but we comfortably accomodated three more adults for a few nights. Lots of stairs - elevator was essential for loading and unloading and for elderly guest. Kitchen was well equipped and the HVAC keep the house comforatble. Screen porch provided extra dining and living area. Furnished and maintained nicely. But, the lack of a door on the upstairs master BR funneled noise up the stairs from the living area below. Small pool was nice but the kids preferred the resort pool that is very close that includes a number of pool side games such as corn hole, horse shoes, string toss, and connect 4. Beach access was more of a hike than expected requiring a vehicle to get our stuff to/from the beach. Enjoyed the bike trails in the Plantation and on SGI. But don't forget the insect repellant! I assume due to the vegetation in the Plantation, it has more than its share of bitting insects.

We enjoyed our stay in this large home near the beach and very close to the community pool. The pool at the house is very small and was very warm-not refreshing-and pool not filled up. Upstairs master is very large, but really needs a door for privacy and noise control. Master bathroom very small with one sink snd a large walk in shower that doesn’t drain well. Plus sides- large home-4 fabulous porches-kitchen is well equipped-but coffee pot takes forever to brew! Elevator is great for loading and unloading! Price was right too.

Our family decided to stay on the Island this year to bring in the new year. I rented SouthWind,Called Jan at Suncoast and after our conversation, I assured that all of our needs were fulfilled. Upon arriving we feel in love in Southwind.Where to start... the porches. Do you like to swing? or rock in rocking chairs? or just sit around a picnic table and visit? gaze at the stars? Well, there is a porch for each of these and more!! Do you like to cook? I was just tickled by this kitchen. It was the best stocked kitchen I have ever seen. Large stock pots, multiple pots and pans, cookie sheets, multiple dish wears, lots of stem wear, one of my personal favs-wooden spoons:),Even had a crock pot! I could go on. But other parts deserve merit as well. The bedrooms were all nice. Each had their own bath expect the bunk bed room which easily shared the other baths on the same floor.The master suite on the 3rd floor was very large, and the bed was very comfy. Would be nice if there was a door at top of stairs. The water did not get very warm in the upstairs masters. ?check the temp on the water heater. Another plumbing issue which was mentioned in another review-One of the Queen B/R toilets will only dispose of urine.I reported this and Suncoast responded the meantime my daughter plunged and plunged the toilet (not knowing I called) so that when the repair came it was working for the moment,only to return to it's naughty self later.The walk to the beach was thru a lovely nature trail. Not far at all. There is another way also. We chose the nature trail. The pool is fantastic. Jan had it heated for us. My grandsons loved it. They called it their giant sauna. It really was relaxing. Oh, I almost forgot..The elevator- what a treat for hauling all your luggage and food. Or if there is someone who can't do stairs. I'm not going to lie. After I did the stairs from ground to the 3rd several times I felt the burn. This is a great family place- A gem!

We absolutely loved staying at South Wind on St. George Island. The house was amazing and offered an expanse of porches for us to enjoy the sunrises, sunsets, and the amazing lightning storms! The kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool as the ocean was still too cold and there was a rip tide warning while there. We really appreciated the little conveniences that made added to our comfort level. The elevator and heated pool were a big plus! The only downside we had was not about the house directly, but we were disappointed to realize that guests aren't allowed to rent golf carts. It would have been nice, but renting bikes for a couple days mostly made up for it.

We live on SGI and rented South Wind for our grandchildren to celebrate our 65th Anniversary (9/11/20) before the end of year. We and all celebrants tested Negative for COVID before they drove to SGI, their favorite beach. All grandchildren expressed their thanks for our renting such a great house for them. A minor plumbing problem occurred that was promptly remedied by maintenance. This is a wonderful rental by Suncoast Vacation Rentals. You will love staying here!

We had multiple issues with the house. We did call a few times and SunCoast had people come out. It only fixed the problem momentarily and honestly got tired of calling. Upon arrival, Suncoast called us and told us that the elevator was not working and that someone would be out within the next day to resolve it. They didn't arrive until Tuesday and the elevator only worked for about a day. The cable in some of the rooms would not work, they did fix that issue. The breaker to the second level would flip, causing the internet to stop working and all things on the second floor. We paid to have the pool heated and it wasn't. They did fix this. The house had enough space, but it was a huge inconvenience not to have the elevator working and having to carry things all the way to the third/fourth floor. Had my disabled parents come as they were supposed to this would have been detrimental for them. Had we not called about the pool, it wouldn't have been heated and the money I spent on it would have just been taken. The house needs updating. There were holes in the wall near the breaker box in one of the bedrooms, marks all over the walls, pieces of safety stripping were coming up on the stairs to the outside deck making it a trip hazard. I would not stay at this place again unless it has been updated and the issues have been worked out.
