Nestled in Baxter, this charming house for $350 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Completely renovated in 2022, located in the lovely "Brainerd Lakes Area". This property features a private, 4-bedroom, 3 bathroom cabin on Red Sand Lake in the heart of Brainerd. Cabin is a year round sanctuary providing all you could ever need for all seasons of the year. Our cabin has all of the conveniences of a medium-sized city (Cub Foods, local bars, Madden’s, Target, etc. within 5 minutes). Enjoy the relaxing sounds of “Up North”, swim at our beach, enjoy the Paul Bunyon Bike Trail, fish off the dock, indulge in a s'more at our lakeside firepit or enjoy yard games. Fully stocked kitchen, coffee nook, gas grill and patio furniture. Cabin has 3 smart TV's and the master bedroom has a king bed with an attached bathroom. We have a sandy beach, 3 kayaks, a dock and are less than 1/4 mile from the boat launch. This is the ideal set up for large groups, golfing retreats, hunting groups, or families looking for a lake getaway! Master Bedroom-King Bed Bedroom 2-Queen bed and a twin bed Bedroom 3-Queen bed and a twin bed Bedroom 4-Two full beds with twin bunks Downstairs living room-Futon NOTE* We just recently wrapped up some fantastic upgrades to the cabin last year. You are going to love it! We opened up the kitchen, put in new floors, added Nest thermostat and front deck Ring doorbell, added a kitchen island and coffee nook and took out a wall in the living room to open things up. The calendar is kept up to date. So if your dates are available feel free to use the "book now" feature on VRBO. We will send you a confirmation note shortly after booking.

Great cabin. Was very clean and spacious. We stayed in winter so didn't get to enjoy the lovely lake but still had a fantastic stay. The cabin accommodated 9 of us perfectly. Owner was very responsive to questions. I would recommend this beautiful cabin especially for those with larger groups! Thank you, TJ!

Property worked well for two families (all adults) for a new years weekend. Booked property cause it was close to town which was nice. House was nice and has had some nice updates.

We had an amazing time at the house! It was clean, beds were very comfortable, all the amenities of home, the views of the lake were beautiful, and couldn’t have asked for a nicer place to stay for our family reunion. We will be back next year!

Extended family stay for wedding weekend. Very comfy beds! Great campfire wood supply and beautiful views. Used the oversized dining room table frequently, great set up for us. Good communication and great location to Baxter.

TJ's property on Red Sand Lake was a great location for our family of 10. The kids loved having a nice sandy beach to play in. The adults loved the kayaks, fire pit, and the proximity to town. When we arrived, we noticed some dirt on the kitchen floor, but TJ had someone from his cleaning crew come out to mop the floors right away. Otherwise the property was in great shape. TJ was a very responsive host and we look forward to staying there again next year!

The house was great! It was loaded with games to play for all ages, had a table big enough for our party of 10 to sit at togetherfor meals. Outside there was a nice beach area for the kids to play in the sand with sand toys that were provided, along with a nice swing set for the kids to play on. We werent able to swim due to the weeds in the lake, but we did find a public beach about 12 minutes away that was really nice for the kids to swim at. We werent far from safari wilderness zoo, which was a hit with the whole family. TJ was great to work with, and answered all our questions.

This VRBO is truly an incredible place to stay right in the heart of Brainerd/Baxter! Central location, close to everything! The owner, TJ, is very communicative, thoughtful and caring! My family absolutely loved our stay in this wonderful 4 bedroom 3 bath staycation right on the lake of Red Sand Lake. The public access is less than 100 yards away…beautiful beach…campfire pit… super clean rooms and incredible kitchen/full family dining table… even a huge selection of board games! I highly recommend this place for you and your family! We had a blast!!

Four girlfriends and I rented this property for girls weekend. The open concept layout of the kitchen and living space was perfect. The property was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The cabin is super close to Baxter so if you need anything Target is a quick trip into town. TJ was very responsive and a great host. Thank you!

We had a great time at our getaway and TJ was awesome! We had enough bedrooms and beds for our family; it was comfy and had everything we needed. We had bonfires, fished in the lake from our boat and off the dock. Went boating in Gull Lake that is very close, went go karting, and much more. Great location!

We loved this space for a multi-generational vacation. The lake access is wonderful, along with the play spaces. Communication was also quick and helpful throughout.

Our family had a great time at this cabin over 4th of July. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils to make meals. The cabin is on a small lake so weedy and mucky bottom. Was fine for our older kids to swim with rafts but is not a wading lake for toddlers.

This lake home turned out to be perfect for us. The location was wonderful, close to the bigger lakes like Gull Lake. But it was a much quieter and less noisy lake, which we loved. Sitting outside, especially in the evening with the fire pit (which was great) was idyllic, hearing only the occasional sounds of nature and the crackling logs. Our daughter's husband and 1 year old took over the lower level, and it was perfect for them with sleeping space and an extra family room and tv. Perfect for going their own way when wanted and keeping entertained. Upstairs was perfect as well. Everything was clean and thoughtfully decorated and maintained. Much of the inside is brand new. The huge eating table (like an extra island) was fun to gather around. Everything we wanted in the kitchen was there, and then some! The owner/manager was easy to communicate with when we had a couple questions, and his responses were really fast. We would definitely go back to this home. Highly recommend.

This VRBO rental had everything we needed to enjoy our family gathering. It was so well laid out, furnished and decorated. There was plenty of room for everyone to have some privacy yet gather in the common spaces. Our group included a 9 month old, a 2 1/2 year old, young adults and grandparents and every one was comfortable. There is so much to do in the area and at the rental place. I would definitely stay again and I recommend it to any family who likes an area with plenty to do yet a place to return to and relax, back at the lake. The Smart TV’s were great to have on both levels of the home especially in the evenings. TJ, our host, was great to work with. Ann Reckow
