About this house rental
Get away from it all at this rare, private, garden oasis! Casa Flores del Mar (House of Flowers of the sea) is one of the few properties in the region with true ocean access. Stone steps carved into the mountainside take you down to massive boulders for sunbathing and tidepools for exploring or cooling off. Prepare the mornings catch in our fully equipped kitchen. Enjoy the sounds of the ocean as you sleep under a light and airy mosquito net. Allow the daytime breeze to whisk you away to daydreams while swinging in the hammock. We welcome you to Casa Flores del Mar...the perfect place to rest and recharge with mother nature. **Please note: The house is not air conditioned.**

Everything about the house and our stay was a dream! Located on a slope above the crashing surf, we feel so lucky to have found this paradise. The house had just what we needed, the caretakers were generous with their time & attention, and the host was responsive and communicative with recommendations & directions. Thanks for an unforgettable getaway!

Impossible to describe hiw beautiful this place is. The dramatic location on the side of a cliff outside a charming fishing town. The stunning views of the sea from three levels, emerald in the morning, sapphire towards evening, with a brilliant sunset. The house itself a work of architectural wonder, beautifully furnished with local furniture and kitchen ware, comfortable beds dramatically draped with mosquito netting, and a gracious gardener / caretaker couple. I'll be back with friends, because it's the loveliest place for hanging out and relaxing.

Casa Flores Del Mar is a magical place. We are a family of 4, with two teens, and we loved our stay. It may not be for everyone, as it is slightly off the beaten path, has no AC, and the top floor has two open sides (no walls or windows) facing the sea. We absolutely LOVED this feature but I can imagine others that might not. The house is lovingly decorated and the caretakers, Lupe and Lupita, are kind and gentle people. The gardens, paths, and perches are lovely. We saw whales from the porch multiple times. I would love to return to Casa Flores Del Mar. Thank you for sharing your little piece of paradise.
