The owners were lovely, friendly, informative, and very accommodating. The location is right in the middle of the main street so it is quick to get to all of the amazing spots of Mazunte. Even though it’s close in, Mazunte tends to wind down at a reasonable hour. The bed I stayed on was very comfortable and the fans, screens, and nets assured there were no mosquitoes. Also, super friendly cats.
Facilities were a bit more primitive than I was expecting (no toilet lid or seat, no hot water). Should be expected I suppose, but this is the furthest south in the America’s I’ve been. Also, the water ran out for about 12 hours and public bathrooms are hard to come by in Mazunte.
