Diamond Beach 513 is a 2/2 condominium located at the much sought-after Diamond Beach Resort. This luxurious property boasts both an indoor and one-of-a-kind outdoor swimming pool with 300' lazy river. The amenities at Diamond Beach Resort seem endless - game room, work out facility, business center (for those who must work while on vacation), cabanas, wine room, movie rooms (by reservation).
Guests walk into this beautifully decorated condo which features an open concept living/dining/kitchen area. Dining area has table for six, kitchen includes granite counters, stainless appliances and all the kitchen tools necessary to prepare any meal a guest may have in mind. The primary bedroom has a queen bed, television, and ceiling fan with en suite bathroom (step in shower). The second bedroom has a queen bed and ceiling fan. The living area has ample seating plus a sleeper sofa. Guests will enjoy the most spectacular morning views of the sunrise from the balcony - above the tree line where birds fly and shrimp boat views are in abundance. Relax and watch as the brown pelicans swoop by circling and diving into the Gulf of Mexico.
This is a strictly non-smoking unit (no smoking on the balcony, please). Sorry, no pets allowed at Diamond Beach Galveston . Parking is limited to 2 cars. For guests traveling with more than six individuals, rent the unit 514 which is located next door to this beauty.

Diamond Beach Resort is a five-star, luxury getaway, located on the West End, just at the end of the Seawall, world’s longest continuous sidewalk. All units offer a private balcony with expansive and unobstructed Gulf Views. Guest will be able to watch the waves roll in and crash against the Seawall, watch the seagulls and pelicans fly overhead and look down below to the outdoor pool and lazy river, without leaving your condo. Diamond Beach Resort amenities include a three-tiered 300′ cascading infinity outdoor pool, 750′ outdoor lazy river (guests must bring own tubes) (peak season 11 am – 7 pm), two outdoor hot tubs, outdoor swim-up bar and grill (peak season), sand volleyball court, cornhole, chess, ping pong, grills (9 am – 7 pm by reservation), cabana rentals (9 am – 5 pm by reservation), outdoor shower, indoor heated pool, outdoor veranda perfect for watching the sunset, game room, Ocean Movie Theater (open to public before 3 pm and private reservations after that time), Wine and Dine Room, children’s Jungle Playroom, 24/7 fitness center, 24/7 business center, conference room, vending machines, secure building and gated community.

Upon entering the unit the AC was not turned down and it was 78 degrees in there so took a while to cool off. The AC would change back to 77 degrees every couple of hours and middle of night. Having worked for a rental management company down here we made sure AC was turned down 2 hours prior to checkin so unit would be cool. Also blinds in kitchen were totally crooked in window in kitchen so unit wasn’t great first impression and housekeeping came in to mop floors and leave towels after we went down to pool and we were not allowed to checkin early for some reason. Unit wasn’t really prepared for a guest visually. Primary room bed is horrible and two people cannot comfortably sleep in it.

Very nice, clean, spacious condo. Resort has lovely facilities. In a good location at the end of the seawall, away from more crowded areas of the island.
