Absolutely great hospitality from the staff. The private onsens were wonderful and flexible to visit. Location near the Shinkansen station is great for access from Tokyo. I had breakfast and dinner included and 5/6 meals were delicious. I stayed 3 nights and was the only non-Japanese person in the hotel, which was great. Tatami floors throughout the hotel was comfortable, although in the beginning I was a little puzzled walking around wearing socks or bare feet.
The Japanese style room was filled with beds.

Clean, nicely modern with the classic flavor. Very nice onsen. Meals are more than decent for this type of hotels.
From my past experiences of other onsen hotels, the meals felt a lot better, but still, for the price, I had better meals at high-end restaurants for the similar price range. That’s the only minor negative, but I wasn’t disappointed, either!

Good location
One of the guests smoked during my stay and the entire floor smelled of cigarette. The staff couldn’t knock on the guest door to stop him from smoking. Unsure how they’re handled it in the end.
