Spacious room and a private location, tastefully decorated with mod cons
The electric front gate - security gate stopped working 2 times. Very inconvenient as no alternative way to get in or out of the property leaving us late for a pre booked excursion!

We had the pleasure of spending a week at Ontathaki Pirgos in the villa with private pool, and it was without a doubt one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. The facilities are superb. Extremely spacious and very well maintained, with a great pool and plenty of room for our family. The villa was immaculate, with all the equipment and dining/relaxing areas you need.
What really stands out is the level of care and attention by the owner Konstantinos and his team. He gave us immediate responses to any questions, great help with restaurants and arrangements. He’s the best host we’ve ever had, and the perfect example of Cretan hospitality.
The location is great too. Close enough to Chania (about 25 min drive), but also far enough to have its own relaxed vibe. Great beach restaurants and bars, and shops all within walking distance. It’s perfectly placed for day trips in Western Crete.
I’d recommend Ontathaki Pirgos for a very special place to stay. The villa is amazing and the owner and team made us feel so welcome. Thank you, Konstantinos, for giving us a holiday experience we will always remember.
