Comfortable and friendly accommodation.
The Market House is situated in a perfect location right in the middle of Glastonbury town centre with some parking at the rear of the premises which is marvellous. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean, cosy and very comfortable. We enjoyed it so much we have booked in again to stay there again this Sunday!

Black mould, human hair, hard beds and pub noise!
Booked a room and received an email saying our check in time had been approved. When we arrived at the property we were told to wait for up to 30 minutes so the guy at the bar could find our reservation details. Poor shoddy grubby standards of hygiene and cleanliness at this property. When we entered our bedroom we found an open bag of old rubbish on the desk which the cleaner had obviously forgotten (?!) to take away. Hairs on bedside tables and behind them in full, plain sight. Everything dusty. Black mould in the bathroom. The only thing that seemed clean was the bed. But the bed was super hard and uncomfortable, and the walls of the room were so thin we were kept awake by noisy neighbours and general staff moving around the pub. Avoid this place until they up their standards. Nobody wants to see human hairs, black mould and someone else’s rubbish when they’re paying to stay there!
Bed was hard and uncomfortable Walls of the rooms were thin so there’s a lot of disruptive noise, no solitude or peace Black mould in the bathroom Old rubbish left in the room by the inattentive absent minded staff who don’t care if a room is clean or not Human hairs in the room - disgusting!

- spacious room and bathroom - great location in town centre - good value for money - friendly staff
- The music from the bar downstairs was very loud in the room until midnight. Don’t stay here if you want to sleep before then
