Tuvimos una excelente experiencia en Villa del Mar, en Zipolite. Es un hotel muy limpio, moderno, cómodo y muy agradable. Nuestra habitación estaba impecable, con mobiliario moderno y muy acorde con el ambiente de Zipolite. El aire acondicionado funcionaba perfectamente, contaba con caja de seguridad y, algo que valoramos muchísimo, pudimos dormir muy bien: por la noche todo fue tranquilo y silencioso.
Nos hospedamos en una habitación con balcón, que tenía una hamaca muy limpia y agradable. La verdad es que casi no pudimos aprovecharla porque hacía muchísimo calor, pero el espacio estaba muy bonito y bien cuidado. También los camastros estaban impecables, al igual que el resto de las instalaciones.
La piscina es muy agradable y cuentan con un área donde puedes tomar café o té y relajarte. El estacionamiento está dentro de las instalaciones y muy cerca de las habitaciones, algo muy cómodo si viajas en automóvil. En todo momento nos sentimos seguros.
Queremos destacar especialmente la atención de Pedro, el encargado. Desde el primer contacto fue súper atento y respondió rápidamente. Hicimos la reservación prácticamente de un momento a otro y estuvo pendiente de nuestra hora de llegada y de que tuviéramos todo lo necesario. Incluso se ofreció a ayudarnos a conseguir transporte hacia los aeropuertos de Huatulco o Puerto Escondido. Nosotros llevábamos nuestro propio automóvil y no fue necesario, pero ese tipo de atención y disposición se agradece muchísimo.
La relación calidad-precio nos pareció excelente. Por el costo de la habitación recibimos mucho más de lo que esperábamos: limpieza, comodidad, tranquilidad, seguridad, buenas instalaciones y una atención excelente.
Queremos felicitar tanto al hotel como a su encargado porque realmente se nota el cuidado que tienen en mantener todo limpio, ordenado y en excelentes condiciones. Da muchísimo gusto llegar a un lugar así. El Wifi funciona super bien.
Para nosotros fue una experiencia de cinco estrellas.

Staff was kind enough to take 20% off the highly overpriced rates
very very basic accommodation. We didn't realize what we were getting into.
No AC (nor a fan that is in any way effective), no functioning WIFI, no paved road leading there. No complete walls to the bathroom (smells and sounds very present in the room). No hot water.
For over $100/night - we felt cheated. Yes, it was new years so probably the highest rates in the year. But a line must be drawn. Can't charge these rates for such primitive accommodation. They were kind enough to discount the rate, which is why I gave 5 stars and not less.
