Location to the station
There was a smell in the room, the whole place needed to be opened up to fresh air but the amenities where good and well thought out you had everything that you needed

Location was ideal for ferry or train access
In a rundown area of town. Lots of garbage everywhere. This place is good for a night to lay your head before catching a train or a ferry. Not much else there. Be aware if you are travelling in by train it is difficult for the host to let you in if you are way past check in time due to a delay. You may be left finding another place to stay in the middle of the night. Give yourself lots of leeway to make the midnight check in time. We were about 20 min late and the host was gracious enough to check us in but others who are much later might not be as fortunate.

This property was conveniently located near the ferry to Sicily and near the train station. It is beautiful apartment that has three bedrooms. There was main living room is set up as the “breakfast area” with tables and chairs with linen tablecloths. Each bedroom is rented as a single unit. So three different people access the living space. The breakfast was organized for each room. However, a “room mate” raided the kitchen and there was no milk or water left for us. It is an unusual arrangement.
Sharing the space with strangers is weird, but we had our own bathroom and a locked bedroom with a patio area. It was Easter Monday and we struggled to find restaurants that were open. Ultimately, we found an excellent sushi place and a wonderful family owned pasta place that we were very thankful for! We stopped on the way to the train station and had a wonderful man make us a sandwich to take on the train.
