Goalie Beachfront Resort in Hikkaduwa is all about location and laid-back coastal vibes.
Right on the beachfront, you’re basically a few steps from the ocean—which is the biggest win. Waking up to the sound of waves and being able to walk straight onto the sand is hard to beat. Sunsets here are unreal and easily one of the highlights of the stay.
The rooms are simple but comfortable, with everything you need for a relaxed beach getaway. It’s not luxury, but it doesn’t try to be—more of an easygoing, no-fuss place where you can unwind.
The atmosphere is very chilled, and the staff are friendly and helpful without being over the top. It has that classic Hikkaduwa feel—casual, social, and a bit lively depending on the time of year.
You’re also close to plenty of cafes, bars, and activities, so it’s a great base if you want to explore while still having the beach right at your doorstep.

Helpful staff and cleanliness
It’s right on main road, lot of noise from vehicles on front and train from back. And also this is not in Hikkaduwa and it’s at least 8km away from the main Hikkaduwa.
