The Seven Stars is a lovely little place in North Shincliffe. Whilst we didn't try the food this time, the reception we received when we arrived was wonderful. Really friendly, warm welcome. The room was lovely, a really good size. The coffee machine in the room was a nice addition, along with a hairdryer and toiletries in the bathroom. They do a decent ale as well! We were lucky enough to get parked outside the front of the pub, which made wrangling a dog and suitcases easier. We will definitely be back again!

Lovely staff.
The food at our evening meal from the restaurant was good and not overpriced.
I struggled with the steep stairs and uneven floors .
Shower needed a black mould removal spray. It’s not difficult to apply .
No car park
