Everything... it was lovely and spacious, peaceful, comfortable, clean, great location, friendly owner... just Perfect for our stay... we absolutely loved it.

The location is fantastic, the village is small, beautiful and very quiet. The Lodge is really well equipped for all your needs. Kitchen had all the essentials and beds were really comfy. At no point, during our stay, we thought were missing something. Big table was a plus as we could play board games during evenings. Few points that I would address are:
1) shelves in the bathroom - it would help to have more space to adapt during our stay
2) we found heating system a bit of an enigma, on one hand it did its job but on the other we struggled to get the right temperature on the thermostat and we didn't want to be wasteful
3) we would love if the property around the lodge had more trees than stumps but that's not our decision to make :)

Great setting in small wooded area, right on the edge of the moors. Plenty of footpaths and circular options of different lengths straight from your doorstep. Lodge was warm and cosy, spotlessly clean and with well equipped kitchen. Veranda with two benches was brilliant for de-booting or in warmer weather, for sitting out. Full wheelchair access and two parking spaces, made loading and unloading very easy.
