Handy for people coming by train, its over the road from the station, behind the garage. It has a quirkiness to it that you dont often find. The toilet and shower room are clean. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you could want - fridge microwave cooker washing machine pots pans etc. The lounge area is huge and has table tennis, games, books. No TV. The bedroom was simple but clean. WIFI was good.
The wooden steps up to the hostel wouldnt suit everyone. The outer door is locked from 11.30pm to 5am which also might be a problem for some. The random piles of various bits and pieces, sheets hung up to dry, skeleton on the wall, worn chairs etc would be charming and quirky for some but not for everyone.

A great location for walking
Perfect for people on a low budget
Close to the station and a big shop
The hostel was very basic with only one bathroom for all 4 rooms
The lounge area was not cosy
