Peaceful seavibes

Lovely location, we had an entire apartment at first floor right beside the lagoon, beautiful view from the bed. A little pool is just besides the house, a bigger one a few steps away. Peaceful gated community, safe and relaxed. The place had a modern washer and dryer, lots of ceiling fans and an ac only in the bedroom. Loved the balcony with view on the lagoon-so close we could see the stingrays in the shallow water. Pelicans cruising by. Bed comfy, shower fine, new stove, big fridge with freezer, all kitchen utensils and even water and beer as a welcome in the fridge. Parking space right in front of house. All fine!

It was fine but I wouldn't do it again.

The location was nice, the pool and room were great. Everything was very clean, the porch is lovely. The view is nice as well. It is quieter than the rest of montego bay which is a huge plus.

This was advertised as a hotel room. It was not a hotel room. It was very difficult to get into the building because we didn't have cell service and therefore no codes, and thinking it was a hotel, we thought we would meet the front desk and collect keys...this was not the case. We were held by the gate staff for almost an hour while they tried to contact the host. The AC was missing the remote so we couldn't use it. The other AC in the bedroom started screaming at us midway through our stay.

The apartment was exactly as depicted in the photos provided. Nia was very helpful throughout the booking process. Room was modern, clean and comfortable. View was spectacular with a quiet environment.

A nice stay overall with a few small areas of improvement

The property itself was very nice and quiet. The apartment was nice and had an open floor plan.

The apartment had lots of mosquitoes. It would be helpful to install screens so that windows can open without letting so many flies and mosquitoes in. The apartment wasn’t dirty, but it could use a deep clean. The fans in the living room were out of order, so we had to run the air more than we wanted to. Also, the bed frame was very noisy and the tree stump side table had bugs in it. That needs to be swapped out. Additionally, the apartment was shared space so you kinda felt confined to your room.

Beautiful place. Large covered balcony. Modern kitchen. Staff professional.

Maid showed up about 90 minutes before our departure to start cleaning. No notice, just opened door. Had to ask her to leave and come back later.

good value, I like the seclusion and quietness whilst not too far from the town centre.

it was in a gated community. The apartment had easy access to the outside space.

it needed renovation and updating. the patio lock was not working and the door couldn’t be locked.

The rooms at the Lagoon had a lot more to offer than what initially meets the eye. It is comfortable, quiet, has a great pool, has a reasonable gym, and has free access to a local resort as well. Wish we made better use of the free access to the local resort! In comparison to other accommodation around this location, it is quite well priced. We also met a GREAT taxi driver, very courteous and sincere - his name is Archer, and number is +8764180766

There could have been more information provided on arrival in the form of a guest booklet which could provide information about recommended restaurants, multiple options for taxi drivers, transport info and most importantly, make it even more clear that we would have free access to the local resort.

Great place, however we did not get the apartment we booked.

The area, and the host were very nice.

We booked a single apartment, but when checking in we got a room inside a sharing apartment with no price adjustment. Due to noisy apartment mates our 2nd night was very noisy and disturbing. The owner of the apartment does not react to our comments.

Arrived at the location to only find out “our unit” had plumbing issues

Staff “tried” calling me but communication was not there. They made me drive to two other locations before getting to a place because everything was booked . After about 2 hours we settled into our place where the hallways had dead cockroaches all around . It was not how I was expecting our stay to be at all. Though Nia was super nice, it really effected my whole day and stay for the 2 days. I had an itinerary set in place for the original place we were supposed to stay at and everything had to change. I ended up losing money and time I can’t get back now since things were already paid for. I truly hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else. But what a total let down to drive 2 hours and to find that your stay that you paid for isn't even available.

Overall nice unit to stay in but was very basic and the cleanliness was lackluster

The unit itself was nice and welcoming. The surrounding area gave a nice sense of community and was properly secured at the entrance. The location was secluded enough to give enough privacy but close enough to a lot of restaurants and everyday facilities. I loved the fact that a fitness center was accessible!

The lack of hygiene and cleanliness was unacceptable. We were obligated to kill a cockroach while eating our dinner on our first night which ruined our appetite but also made us uneasy during the rest of our stay.

The property has everything you actually need and this is a good thing. There is a pool right outside You bedroom and the Security at the gate are Super Fantastic. I think there is a gym which I did not get to experience, what’s not like, basically, it’s a lovely place.

The only thing I would say was the communication which left us outside for a while but that was due to My Internet playing up so not receiving the messages the Owner sent to obtain access to the property.

Beautiful Apartment & Location right opposite FreePort where the Cruise Ships Dock; Security is exceptionally nice.

I was disappointed as it wasn't listed as 'Shared Accommodation' had I booked for longer I would not have been happy. The Property itself is very nice & well kept; I would suggest windows be kept closed when no one is in the property as there were a lot of ants in the kitchen & bedroom.

I strongly recommend it!

Nice apartment in a beautiful closed gate neighborhood. The beach is 5 min away, walking distance. The service is great, Nia and Mario were very helpful.

Only small things -shower pressure could be stronger, kitchen could have more cooking tools.
