Location was perfect for visiting the city and also for walks with our dog.
Quite simply, there was nothing not to like.

High quality and very well maintained and comfortable
Bathroom is downstairs so the night time loo visit was a bit tricky navigating stairs without waking other person.

Well-built and beautifully decorated Studio. All very tastefully done. Very good facilities.
This would probably only apply in hot weather but the bedroom was very hot and stuffy. Only one small velux window that opens. Temperature one evening in the bedroom was 26.4 C. Not helped by the central heating going on with a timer! Duvet perfect for a freezing night but unusable in hot weather (particularly when combined with the lack of ventilation). Luckily I had a light throw in my car so just used that and the duvet cover. Bed clothes need to reflect hot temperatures.
Only other niggle is that the sofa cushions are very flat and slightly uncomfortable. Seen better days!

The place was in a lovely position and access to the local area was very good.
The accommodation was very comfortable and it was supplied with everything we needed for our two night stay
The cleanliness of the property was reasonable.
Unfortunately, on our arrival, it was clear that the upstairs had not been cleaned properly.
We found dead wasps on the floor, which looked like they had been there for some time.
We took a video and shared it with booking.com to informed me that they would pass it to the owner.
We did get a reply and were informed that the cleaners had been in the morning before we arrived. However, this could not have been the case as no windows were open on our arrival.
The next day, we opened the upstairs skylight, but we had to close it very quickly as more wasps came into the property.
We again contacted booking.com and explained the situation. There is clearly a nest in the trees next to the property that requires to be moved so that you don't have this continuous issue.
I did receive a phone call from the owner when we departed the property, but obviously, this was too late to assist us.
The owner was very apologetic on the phone and stated that they were not aware of this issue. However, if the property had been cleaned correctly, prior to our arrival, they would have known there was an issue.
This was really disappointing for us , as it did spoil our visit as we were only there for 2 nights.
Also, at no point were we offered any reimbursement for these issues.
Any future bookings should clarify that this has been dealt with, especially if you have children or someone in your party who may be susceptible to wasps or the like.
