The owner had obviously gone to some effort to make it homely

It wasn’t the cleanest and the bathroom was tiny, you could get dressed in there. There was some sort of cardboard thing in the shower held up by masking tape. There was also a blood stain on the wall. The curtains in the bedroom are far too short so lost of light came in on a morning. The surrounding apartments all have windows smashed and boarded up. I understand that’s not the owners fault but it’s not what you want to see. There’s also a padlock on one of the doors in the bedroom which I didn’t open. Bedlinen was also dirty.

Very good

Brilliant location in centre of town just off the main High Street. Dog friendly so could share our holiday with our two dogs.

Despite time of year was a little chilly could not see away yo pop the heating on. However fan heaters were provided in each room which solves the problem.

I used this apartment to stay in for work and it was honestly just great I felt very at home and I always sat at the fir

I liked this property because it was very cosy and clean and comfortable it was also very homely as well and the location is great.

the toilet seat was broken and there was a little dirt on my pillow but I just turned it over no big deal

Easy Check in and check out. Location was spot on. Warm and homely feel to this flat

Once we found how things worked, we enjoyed our stay

Location was excellent

No helpful notes, ie for heating, WiFi, microwave would be great for longer stays, curtains at the street front window for privacy

Good wee property for a break.

Was a tidy wee apartment and a good base for visiting the borders. Was clean and a quiet part of town. Good parking rond the area. Found the carpark opposite the property was free for the moment which was useful. Would recommend the apartment for short stay as a couple or single person.

Some of the fixtures and kitchen utensils were a wee bit on the cheap side and could do with updating. We were there in August when the weather was good but I could be cold and drafty in the winter since some windows had gaps.

Great location and a great base for a couple or solo travellers.

The location, the flat and facilities are excellent. Having the option to cook, relax or eat out is great. A great base to explore Hawick and the borders.

Once there, very enjoyable.

Not easy to find though the detailed instructions helped. Not the most salubrious neighbourhood BUT very close to the High Street. Worth researching where you can park for free. Would I go again? Probably.

There was a real mix up with the booking. I had to invest a LOT of time to get it finally sorted. Without this I’d have given a higher overall rating.
