I loved how bright the place was and the decor is esquisite. It feels like a real home away from home with all the comforts available.

There isn’t something that I didn’t like in this property.

The property was spacious and modern and clean. It had everything you could need, and was very comfortable and made you feel at home.

clean and quiet location

Lighting in the internal corridor isn’t good enough and the PIR sensors aren’t facing the right direction to trigger in time. Also, the heating took an age to actually make a difference.

The property is a lovely cozy place, and beautifully furnished. Easy to get to, and had no issues when accessing the self check in/out. Thanks to the host’s very helpful guide sent prior to our stay. Really convenient pay & display parking opposite, reasonably priced and free from 5pm-8.30am, and free all day Sundays. Lovely and quiet on the evenings. TV included streaming services, such as Netflix & Prime. Kitchen was perfectly equipped with everything needed to cook up a storm. Property felt safe and secure.

The only things that let our stay down, upon arrival we discovered that the large bathroom towels were used and damp, and had been left in the wash basket in the bedroom. And the only clean towels available were some hand towels in the closet. We also discovered the bed linen had not been changed, and found tobacco strands in the bed, and marks on the sheets. Although from viewing past reviews, I’m sure this isn’t a common occurrence, and has just been overlooked and missed. As the rest of the property was very clean. Some suggestions would be, maybe some Blackout curtains in the bedroom and living room would be a great touch to help with early morning light and street lighting coming through the blinds, and to aid in heating. As we found the heating also didn’t go above 18c, so the apartment remained rather chilly throughout our stay unfortunately. So maybe a little electric heater could be an option, to help during the winter months, if any other guests have had similar experiences. Other than that, we had a very pleasant stay here, and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a short private break away or stay over.

This is a beautifully decorated one bedroom apartment in the centre of Hawick. It is very spacious with a large double bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, microwave, kettle, fridge and all the other equipment you might need. The apartment appears to have been recently renovated and is in excellent condition. The host provided copious joining instructions which made accessing the apartment very easy. We were able to ‘check in’ late at night without needing to bother the host. There is a car park directly opposite the property, which was (temporarily) free when we visited. The apartment is only 100m from the high street.

The access to the apartment is through a rather forbidding and (when we visited) unlit apartment block. The apartment smelled a bit damp when we visited, although there was no other evidence of damp in the apartment itself.
