The location for seeing Cornwall was great. We drove along the north coast (Tintagel, Padstow) and also south to Eden Project; Lostwithiel, Mevagissey). I really liked being able to watch the sun set into the sea from the kitchen / diner room on two clear days (possible in the summer by the looks of things; we were there in July). A gardener trimmed the grade while we were staying and we ate outside a couple of times which was very pleasant.
Nothing much really. The steep drive might challenge a few drivers I guess. We put rocks under the wheels to support the hand brake. Keys were in a lock box, worked fine though maybe a little oil would make the number rings turn more easily. Opening the box was just a little stiff.

The cottage was very clean and tidy.
Check in/out process was seamless.
We had very hot weather and there were no fans.
The small garden area was too overgrown to use..
A man turned up to paint the windows. He did knock the door, but I was unable to answer at the time, so he carried out the work. As the toilets and bedrooms are on the ground floor, it is not ideal to have someone at the windows.

The cottage was very clean and well kept. The kitchen was a great size and lovely to have 2 bathrooms too. It's a great base for exploring North Cornwall and all the beautiful beaches nearby. Just a short drive away from Boscastle town and harbour, which is a gorgeous little place.
We got the 2 cars on, but the drive is very steep!! The cottage is in a small street with a lot of other houses around. (This wasn't a problem, just a little different from how the picture of the outside appeared on the advert.)
