Decent value for money, considering the price. There was an issue with our room and they changed us to another one. We decided to get the king deluxe and paid extra for it, although for a lower upgrade they did not ask for extra money. Considering price differences I think only the king deluxe room makes sense here. If I come back, I'd defenitely book that room from the beggining.
The hotel is a bit uphill so reaching it from the city centre can be a bit tiring on foot. It is not a 5-star hotel so they do not clean the rooms every day.

Extremely nice and helpful host who speaks good english. Pretty good location, nice rooms, and a kitchen for all. Terrace at the top to hang out in the evenings.

Very spacious room, with a big bed. The owner was friendly and spoke English, which was very helpful.
The bed was sagging, the bathroom was not very clean – the shower had hair in it, and the taps were not descaled, leaving a visible residue. There was also an unpleasant smell, the walls looked worn, and we had to put the duvet cover on ourselves.

I liked that the hotel offered secure parking within a gated property. The area was generally clean, quiet and provided a decent view. It was also not too far to walk to the city center.
However, I wasn't impressed with the behavior of the staff/owner - it felt like we were inconveniencing them. It was also a bit tricky to find the hotel, the signage wasn't clear, and the access by car was quite narrow. There were four floors but no lift, the wind was strong and it caused the ceiling tiles to lift, and unfortunately, they did not offer card payments.
