We had a lovely stay in this spacious and beautiful apartment. The views of the ocean and the surrounding banana plantations were absolutely stunning. The master bedroom was particularly beautiful, with its own amazing view and a stylish en-suite bathroom. The children’s bedroom was also very comfortable and well suited for a family.
We especially enjoyed the beautiful private courtyard with its heated jacuzzi. The location is wonderful for a relaxing family getaway, close to a wild black-sand beach accessible via a staircase down the cliff. It is a truly special setting for those who enjoy nature and a more secluded atmosphere.
There are, however, a few things worth mentioning. Some of the appliances were not working properly. The jacuzzi occasionally malfunctioned, the washing machine did not work, and unfortunately, neither did the coffee machine – so we ended up buying coffee capsules for nothing! :)
Getting to the property involves driving along a very narrow, winding mountain road, so confident driving skills are definitely an advantage. The beach can also have very strong waves, which may not be suitable for younger children. Finally, there is an abandoned restaurant next to the apartment, which gives the immediate surroundings a slightly neglected and deserted feel.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The apartment itself is beautiful, spacious and full of charm, with breathtaking views. With a little more attention to maintenance and the surrounding area, it could be an absolutely perfect place for a family holiday.
