Lovely simple hotel, exceptionally clean. We loved the pool, garden area and all the olive trees. It was in an excellent location, just a quick stroll to the beach. It was very relaxed and friendly and would definitely return.

Breakfast, which was included, had an excellent range of both hot and cold choices. Chrisoula was like a "pocket rocket" , greeting the guests at breakfast, showing and explaining, topping up and clearing away and wiping down tables so there was always somewhere to sit on the breakfast terrace. The pool area is well maintained and shaded by mature olive trees. There are plenty of loungers. Drinks and ice creams are available throughout the day and evening at the shaded poolside bar. A selection of lunch items are freshly prepared to order at lunchtime, overseen by Chrisoula and then Nikos. There was an effective air con system in our room and the linen was changed every 2 or 3 days. A small balcony/patio washing line and pegs made it easy to dry swimwear etc. The small kitchenette contained all you might need to prepare simple meals but there are a plethora of restaurants, bars or take aways to choose from nearby overlooking the lovely bay.
Some of the apartments have been refreshed and updated (i.e.our daughter's) but not ours - still the dark green and dark furniture of old. The mattress on our bed was hard and unforgiving. The free WiFi in our apartment was abysmal and constantly dropped out of use despite the fact that we were the nearest apartment to reception. It seemed marginally better outdoors but it is definitely an area that needs addressing. Turning your device off and on again and rejoining, as suggested by management made not one iota of difference.
The toilet and shower area by the pool needs refurbishing.
Quality of lunchtime food was inconsistent, dry or undercooked chicken and hard dry village rolls on 2 occasions.
Favouritism by hotel manager, acknowledging some select guests but ignored the majority, in marked contrast to the
serving and cleaning staff who all had a ready smile and a "kalimera".

Villea Village is a property full of character and nostalgic charm, with an aesthetic and architectural style that takes you back to the 1990s. It pleasantly stands apart from the minimalist design that dominates most modern hotels today, offering instead plenty of colour, personality and a distinctive atmosphere.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is very well maintained, and the friendly and attentive staff were available around the clock, helping us feel relaxed and well looked after throughout our visit. The large swimming pool and delicious breakfast were definite highlights and added considerably to the overall experience.
The beach is just a three-minute walk away, where beautiful crystal-clear waters await.
A charming, welcoming place with its own unique identity. Highly recommended!
Some furniture in the rooms and the bathroom is time to be replaced.

Location is good. And pool is a nice size.
It is a bit package holiday like for me, but some people like that. We booked a double room and the booking stated 1 double bed and 1 single bed. We got 3 single beds. I asked at reception for a room with a double bed but he sid they didn't have any left, which is strange as we only booked the night before. He told us to push the single beds together. Didn't get much sleep, as this wasn't a comfortable sleeping arrangement
