The Oakhurst Inn at Yosemite

Great location to Yosemite park and in particular the steam railway. Staff were ok but could have been a little bit more helpful with early check in or looking after suitcases.

There was a free breakfast however there is little room for everyone so we missed out

Food variety. Very noisy bathroom fan in room 237.

Good rates, good location close to Yosemite. Staff was friendly and kind. Carpets in room were clearly not vacuumed or cleaned as there was visible food and what looked to be parts of M&Ms or something on the ground (easy to spot and therefore pick up during turnover). There was also it some food mashed into the carpet and a mysterious dark stain painfully visible. Appeared to be wet, but wasn’t. Seeing this upon arrival prompted me to look immediately at the mattresses for signs of bed bugs, which relievingly, I found none. While in the bathroom I noticed a few very small dark bugs crawling into a crevice. They could have just been wood louse, but who knows. Other than that, the beds and sheets were clean and so were the towels. It was just a place to sleep and accomplished just that rather comfortably, actually. Given all that, I would probably stay there again. Just wanted to give an honest review.
