An excellent place 👌

The property faces the sea front and you can hear the sea waves crashing to the boulders all the time. It's a very cozy, comfy and beautiful property. There is a lot of greenery in the property and the neighborhood is very clam. To get into the property there is a narrow lane which goes to the entrance. So, if you are visiting here by car, you have to park it on the road side before entering the lane. The property is near to the prominent sightseeing places like Fort Kochi and Mattancherry. The hosts are super helpful and take care of all the things to make the stay more comfortable. Even our check-in and check-out was very smooth. Since they don't serve lunch and dinner, we ordered it online via Zomato and Swiggy. There are many eateries in this area, so ordering food was not a problem. Although, they served good homemade breakfast every morning between 9-10 AM. The room was pretty cozy and clean. The bathroom is super clean with 24X7 running water. Although, there is no geyser but we believe there is no use of it, since it's very hot and humid in Kochi. The upper floor of the room was very cozy and a great place to sit and relax. Overall, we really liked the property and we will definitely opt for it whenever we are visiting next time.

The pillows were not comfortable and we had to struggle at night while sleeping.

A peaceful seaside stay

Hosts were super friendly! Breakfast was delicious. Such a peaceful setting- you can sit in the hammocks, or chill by the sea and all you can hear is the waves crashing against the shore. A bit away from the town centre but you can easily get a tuktuk (Uber is available) or walk (~40 mins to Vasco da Gama square). Room was spacious and clean, and had a small sofa as well to relax. The homestay is a stones throw from the seafront where you can watch the sunset and enjoy the ocean views.

Unfortunately the SeaHut Homestay did not meet our expectations. The room was clean but just old and dusty. The bathroom was much smaller than expected. We selected the room that had an outdoor balcony and sea view. However, there were so many mosquitoes that it was not possible to sit outside. Location - The homestay is on the outskirts of Fort Kochi and about 3 km from all the attractions in Fort Kochi. Even though we had booked the place for 2 nights we only stayed here one night and ended booking another hotel for the second night.

Superb

Beautifully designed room. Lovely ornate wooden carvings, on balcony & inside room Great to hear the sea & birds from our bedroom. Really well kept gardens, a little hideaway from the hustle & bustle of Cochin. Enjoyed eating the lovely home cooked breakfasts on the balcony.

Slightly away from shops & restaurants in Fort Cochin, it took longer than normal to get a rickshaw at night.

The staff was extremely helpful. We got tickets for kathakali and kalari through them as well as other advice Breakfast was good. Nice hamacs and area for relaxing.

The sea view room is elevated without a ground floor and my friend felt like it was slightly swaying, which was a little unnerving for him (didn't notice anything though) The beds were a little tiny (for someone who's 1.75m and fairly large ) Shower water didn't warm up

Beautiful sunset and nice homestay

We stayed only for a very short time, but we really liked the cool vibe of the place and the beautiful sunset. The owners were also nice.

For the price and duration of our stay, everything went great.

Superb

Lovely staff, great breakfasts, totally loved the beach garden with hammocks. The sound of the sea is really nice.

No hot showers Just note that the location is fabulous being by the sea but it does mean a tuktuk journey every time you go anywhere.

Such a beautiful property Great location Back gate has access to beach There are swings in the beach garden area Stay looks aesthetic and the upper deck with sea view is just awesome😊

Only breakfast is complementary You have to Zomato or swiggy other meals No Parking area- had to park my car on the main road

Location and the host are really good, they are really supportive

Refreshing, Amazing and Comfortable.

The property was very homely and comfortable with a very rustic and earthly vibe. It nests amidst nature with the property beautifully under the canopy of coconut almond and teak trees and the waves continuously crashing against the rear wall of the property. The ambience at the property is very serene and it is the perfect place to take a rest and recharge your batteries. The staff was also very helpful and took good care of us.

There is Nothing to dislike.

Homestay is excellent! The best part is a location - its is just near the sea. You can hear it :) also, the owners are really helpful - you can book trips, make a laundry, etc. Indian breakfast are really tasty!
