Big shout out to the amazing staff! They were friendly, cheerful, and always ready to assist or respond to any question!
Overall, Rumi hostel is a perfect place to rest, relax, and meet other travellers. Frequented by cyclists and hikers (pilgrims), and the facilities match that: Secure bicycle storage, cheap laundry facilities, great drying cabinet, fully equipped kitchen, and fantastic common area.
Quiet location within short walking distance to Trondheim's city center. I know where I'll stay if I return to Trondheim.
Nit pick thing: I like to have a bed-curtain. But honestly, it wasn't an issue in this hostel because my roommates were super kind and considerate of one another.

Very comfortable Hostel and excellent breakfast. Very helpful staff.
Only minimal kitchen facilities for self catering. Slightly tough uphill route to Hostel from railway station

Clean and fresh. Location is great but quit a hike to get there.
I booked the room with four beds and upon arrival I was given the upper bed. I asked the receptionist for the lower bed. I was told that the lower bed has an arrival, but when I woke up in the morning nobody had arrived. I don’t know why she couldn’t change my bed. But it’s fine.
