About this condo rental
Nestled in Cedar Key, this lovely condo for $212 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. This amazing townhouse is a two-bedroom, one bath, waterfront townhome vacation rental in Cedar Key. It is just a short walk from the City park beach and all the restaurants and shops. More importantly it is just about as close to the Gulf as any lodging can get. The balcony doors open to the sound of gentle waves lapping on the rocks below. These calm waters will soothe your soul. The entry leads up to the main level of the townhome. Here is the living, dining, kitchen great room with sliding glass doors opens onto the waterfront balcony. The kitchen is fully furnished for cooking. We have Cuisinart appliances and Keurig Coffee maker. We have a side by side refrigerator, dishwasher, electric range and oven, and even a George Forman grill. The living room is open to the Gulf breezes and the salty sea air and has a queen couch bed. The balcony is sunny and warm year round. The top floor is home the the bedrooms and bath. The master bedroom with king size bed is waterfront with glass doors and private balcony overlooking the panoramic Gulf of Mexico. The guest bedroom has a queen bed. The Bathroom has a walk in shower with sliding glass doors. We offer Spectrum TV service. Free wi-fi. Washer & Dryer as well. Here you are blessed to actually witness the real island life. From your balconies you'll see a constant display of the Cedar Key watermen & women coming and going from the nearby clam leases. These hard working clam farmers make the trip to and from their leases directly in front of the townhomes. They harvest their clams daily. The wake created by these bird dog boats laps onto the rocks below. The townhome has a very small rock and sand and shell beach next door where you can sit in the sand and launch your kayaks. Please bring water shoes because you will probably want to explore on the rocks here. The sea wall and rocks are great places to see marine life up close at low tide. The parking here is limited so keep this in mind when you plan your trip. We share with seven other units and everyone must have access. One car or truck is best and more than two vehicles is not advised. There is however adequate parking under your unit for golf carts. -Please be respectful of the neighbors and the area you are staying -Do not trespass on other people's property, this includes docks and driveways -Please be careful where you park, don't block people in, use neighbors property, park on the sidewalk or impede traffic -Parties and/or events are not allowed -No smoking inside or within 10 feet of doors or windows $250 fine if the property smells of smoke -Unauthorized pets will result in a $250 fine for each animal -$150/person/day fee for over occupancy limit -Please don’t eat or drink anything besides water in the bedroom -Quiet hours 10 pm to 7 am per local Noise Ordinance -Please respect the check-in and check-out times. $500 for each 4 hours, or portion unauthorized thereof, of early check-in and late checkout. -Guests are responsible for any damage they cause. If something does happen contact us ASAP and we will see if there’s a way to quickly take care of the issue before it gets worse and costs more. -Please don’t rearrange the furniture. -Please do your dishes. -No illegal substances allowed on premises. - Primary renter must be at least 25 years old or active military. - ESA and service animals require documentation and adherence to our policies. - Do not set the AC below 72° or heat above 78°. - If there are kayaks or bikes included in the rental, use these responsibly, following all Florida regulations. Not all units under management include kayaks or bikes, please reference the listing to see included amenities. You confirm you are trained in the use of kayaks and bicycles. You are responsible for any damages or injuries resulting from their use.

Had a great time. Condo was very clean and well stocked. Property managers were very helpful and easy to reach. Beautiful sunrise view right on the water. Condo has alot of stairs but overall very nice.

This was our first time in Cedar Key and we fell in love with the town and this vacation home! It’s just as described- clean, comfortable and in a perfect location too. We enjoyed watching the dolphins and boats from the balconies- such a peaceful few days.
We were within walking distance to restaurants and shops. The area is very quiet at night- just how we like it. Check in was easy and straightforward. Questions were quickly answered. We received helpful tips and ideas via email and text- which we greatly appreciated. They are a fantastic and responsive property management company!
The home is well stocked. We had everything we needed and more. The king bed was firmer and the queen bed a bit plusher- bed comfort is critical and we slept well! Our time was too short and we were sad to leave- Cedar Key now has a piece of our hearts! Will definitely be back!

Nice condo had everything we needed, great location. Cedar Key is still rebuilding but most everything was up and running. I would recommend a visit to Cedar Key and our stay in this condo was very enjoyable.

Great seafood, great town, great place! and a great view. We watched dolphins feeding up and down the channel every day, along with lots of other wildlife plus the beautiful scene of the ocean, sky, and the lush island in the distance. Very relaxing!

The townhouse is as warm upstairs and cold downstairs. I think it just so hot his time of year it was hard to enjoy the area. The townhouse was equipped ok but nothing was xtra.

This was our first time to Cedar Key and Salt Life 2. The condo was very clean and perfect for us and our Dog.. loved how clean everything was and the condo had everything we needed

If you are looking for a quiet little place on the gulf, this is it. Cedar key is a small town on the gulf coast. About 2 1/2 hours from Orlando. It is worth the drive. There’s a small beach and a number of places to dine. It’s a quaint town, which appears to close up around 9 PM. But if you’re looking for relaxation, this is it. Two beautiful decks, a great view of the gulf, dolphins swimming in the waters every day, and the place was very clean and neat. Air conditioning felt great on a hot day.

My husband and I have stayed in Cedar Key many times over the years. We have stayed in many different places and enjoyed them all. However, Salt Life was absolutely heavenly and became a favorite! Loved being able to wake up and look out to the water from my bed. Took several naps on the porch listening to the water below hit the rocks, and of course the dolphins are always present to entertain.
Note: TV in bedrooms not working/not hooked up. Although we did fine with the multiple stairs, some may have difficulty with the 2 sets of narrow stairs. Rails were definitely a plus.

Close to downtown-we walked everywhere!!! Rented a golf cart one afternoon and went around the area! Wish we could have seen the sunrises or sunsets from our place but other than that it was as great!!!

Great space feels more like staying in a home than a hotel. We rented a golf cart and had a parking spot for it which was nice instead of it sitting outside. The home is spacious, and we had plenty of room to spread out. The views from both decks in the unit are amazing. This unit is very close to town, and we could walk or have a short golf cart ride to get to anything we wanted to. The only difficulty was the 2 flights of stairs. My husband has bad knees and a bad back, so the stairs were difficult for him to climb. The only bathroom is on the top floor of the unit near the bedrooms which was nice for getting up in the middle of the night or in the morning, but when we were relaxing in the living room/kitchen area you had to climb the stairs to go to the only bathroom.

The first night, the waves were lapping on the rocks below. What an awesome sound. So soothing and relaxing. The dolphins put on a show the second night we were there. They were having so much fun jumping and flipping~! Love the area, not congested and kind of "quaint".
Only drawback? The stairs were problematic for us. The bottom stairs definitely need a railing of some kind. Other than that, everything was perfect~!

This place is everything and some. Everything I hoped it would be. I didn’t know anything about Cedar Key prior to going on this vacation. It’s only about 700 people that live there year around and not many African American people at allllll. So I must admit I was a bit nervous about that. But everyone was friendly and we had an amazing time. We enjoyed the tour on the water to see all the different islands and the birds nesting. All of the other reviews are absolutely accurate. We stayed 5 days and got to see a dolphin show with a family of about 8 dolphins every single day. It was truly amazing how active they were. I’ll definitely be visiting this exact place again. Oh did I mention the little private island/beach 30 feet from the townhouse. We left the place as we received it, spotless. Can’t wait for our next trip to our new Honeycomb Hideout. You won’t be disappointed with this place. Trust me!

Although it said pet friendly when we arrived the instructions said we couldn't leave the pet unattended We brought his cage so we could have a couple meals out. We had to find restaurants that accepted dogs

Calm and quiet
We looked for a place where we could see water right out our front door. We were not disappointed. This had the added bonus of a view from the bedroom and the living room. One thing to know if you have mobility issues, there are lots of stairs and the is only one bathroom on the kitchen floor.

Cedar Key Paradise
We had stayed in Cedar Key before, but this time was extra special. Our condo was right on the Gulf with 2 balconies on Gulf side. Everything was clean and supplied our needs except the seating area. With the 4 adults, we needed another comfortable chair or two and a more comfortable couch. But other than that, everything was perfect! We especially enjoyed the location - within walking distance to Dock St, restaurants, fishing, and other places. Would rent again!
