About this house rental

Welcome to our very own White House. This charming little place was built in 1925 and has retained all of its original Craftsman style. It has 3 bedrooms and a bathroom. It also has what we lovingly refer to as the ¼ bathroom down stairs. There is a full sized and well stocked kitchen, with attached dining room and a comfortably furnished living room. There is a desk to one side for those who need to bring a little work along on the trip. There are 2 queen beds and 1 full bed. There are also two fold away mattresses. This place comfortably sleeps 8 people. All of the beds and bedding are new and of a high quality. This place is in the downtown Nauvoo district and is minutes away from all of the historical sites. You can walk to the temple and take it all in. It is a block from the Dollar General and Casey’s gas station.

Great location and had everything that we needed for our stay. Hosts instructions on check-in and checkout were very clear and easy to follow. We really appreciated the binder on the desk that contained information about the house and Nauvoo.

This house is in a good location for visiting the sights in Nauvoo. It has the potential to be a charming older house. Needs some maintenance and cleaning. The kitchen especially needed cleaning. Food was stuck to the tablecloth and chairs, and the oven probably hadn't been cleaned for a while. We were glad we didn't need to use it.
