Located just beside The St. Augustine Alligator Farm, and St. Augustine Lighthouse, as well as walking distance to several restaurants and bars, Tiki Nest is a wonderful venue to relax and take in the beauty and history of St. Augustine. Rent bikes and enjoy a short less than one mile ride to Anastasia Park (3 miles to beach access), or a 1.5 mile ride over the Lion's Bridge and around the cobblestone streets of the Old City. Take in popular concerts in the St. Augustine Ampitheatre just a one mile walk away. The fully fenced backyard will become your favorite oasis for hanging out with family or friends, splashing in the pool, sunbathing, or resting in a hammock among the shady tropical foliage. Create your own sundowner at the tiki bar. Tiki Nest has a spacious kitchen and living space which features an open floor plan and large breakfast and dining area perfect for family meals and games. This was a great location for getting into the historical district or out to the beaches. It is located close to the lighthouse into the alligator farm. The alligator farm has a shuttle into the historical district.
The house was clean and the posting is accurate. The kids enjoyed the pool in the evening and we enjoyed sitting outside in the screened in porch and on the patio. The backyard is fenced. There’s adequate parking in front of the home. Check in was easy. This is a great spot for a family.
Neighborhood is safe and friendly, and we went on several walks. We enjoyed a very nice breakfast restaurant nearby.
We would stay again if we return to the area

The house and location fit our needs perfectly for a family weeding in the area. Ample space with comfortable furnishing and well equipment kitchen to serve all guests. We look forward to a return trip in the near future.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in such a quiet neighborhood close to downtown and St. Augustine beach. You can see the lighthouse from the driveway. The kitchen is well equipped for whatever you want to cook. We highly recommend Mojo's for tacos just outside of the subdivision.

This property is in a great location and was plenty of room for our family of 4. The neighborhood was nice and perfect for walking. The house is older but bathrooms and kitchen have been updated. Barstools at kitchen island are not in good shape. The outside pool area and landscaping need some TLC. Pool side furniture needs to be replaced as it is all showing age. We had a couple minor issues and property manager was very responsive which was great! We would stay here again in hopes that some of these improvements are implemented.

The communication with the rental manager was seamless from the very beginning. David was quick to respond to my enquiries and provided all the necessary we needed to make our stay comfortable. The check-in process was a breeze, and I appreciated the detailed instructions provided, which made accessing the property incredibly easy.
The rental itself was immaculate. It was evident that the hosts take great pride in maintaining a clean and inviting space. The interior was tastefully decorated, and the attention to detail was evident in every corner.
We will definitely be returning on our next visit to the area!

My family and I love this property. We had such an amazing time there. We were close enough to walk down to the Alligator Zoo and down the street to a great taco place. The back yard is so nice, it feels like a tropical paradise! The property manager was very promt to answer any questions and we hope to stay again in the future.

The location for this property on Anastasia island was great. The communication with the property manage was great. However, I was somewhat disappointed in the overall maintenance of the home. It was OK. Just not as nice as the pictures indicated. The home definitely needs upgrades and more maintenance. The pool area, including the pool itself, was covered in leaves. The potted plants looked like they hadn’t been watered in quite some time. The cushions for the patio furniture needed to be replaced. We were looking forward to getting into the pool, but we never did. The accommodations were good enough to get us through our daughter’s wedding, but overall we thought the place was just ok

The Tiki Nest is a fantastic place to stay. It is super close to all the attractions, but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. The backyard is absolutely incredible and although it was freezing while we were here, my kids had the best time running around and playing. We had 9 people and we were all comfortable. The kitchen is super spacious and there are a lot of seats to accommodate people to eat. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Saint Augustine; David will help you with anything you need while you are here; he is very responsive!

We had a great time over the holidays. The place is conveniently located just 6 minutes from the downtown historic district. There were plenty of dishes for everyone. The host was speedy to respond to any of our needs. The changes or adjustments I would make is to change the one-ply toilet paper.

Such a great spot. Can see the lighthouse so clearly from the driveway. The backyard is a very nice oasis. Even though it was too cold for us to use the pool it was very nice. We came for the nights of lights this weekend and it was great to be so close to the action but far enough away it was quiet. Would highly recommend. Beds were comfy and everything was nicely updated in the house. Appreciate too that it was a pet friendly place.

The ability to get local TV stations easily for the news and weather and info on when the trash and recycling pickup days are. Luckily we heard them coming and got the cans out in time. Other than that a, small ant problem, I understand it is Florida so we didn't keep anything out in open in the kictchen without being closed in ziplock bags. All in all, we would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at Tiki Nest. The backyard was very nice with the pool. The place has a big kitchen with new appliances and the house was spacious for a family of four and near from beaches and attractions. We give Tiki Nest a rate of 4 because the living room furnitures are not very comfortable and there is not a lot of light in the house.

I gave it a four instead of a five star mainly because we felt it was a quick flip- some plugs had no screws and were coming off, couldn’t find how to turn on the fan in the living room, pool tiles coming off, and the light in the dining room would flicker. Just little things that make your stay a 5! I would stay there again. Location was amazing!

The backyard and pool make this place. It is about 5 min from Anastasia State Park. Small fee to get in but great beach without all the commercial activity. Wide open space only limited by how far you want walk up the beach. Clean restrooms and small cafe. When not on the beach historic downtown St Augustine has lots to see. Fun small shops and restaurants as well as historic sites.
The house is in a quiet older neighborhood and is a bit dated but had some recent renovations. Not luxury accommodations but comfortable enough. New appliances and stocked with common kitchen cooking items. The yard and pool more than compensate for anything else. We didn’t spend much time inside the house but add good use of the screened in porch.
Overall it was a fun place in a good location.
