I liked the communication between the staff and myself. I liked the proximity of the hostel and attractions. I went to the Tel Aviv Art Museum on Rosh Hashana. The restaurants and cafes in the area as well as the many mini supermarkets were excellent!

The hotel/ hostel is in the basement of a non-luxury building in TA's funky, artsy Florentine neighborhood. A lot of care has gone into creating a charming, cozy atmosphere (note that the decor is black-themed with club-like lighting). It had everything we could have needed, and the atmosphere was calm. The best thing was the beds--we slept all morning because the sleep was so relaxing, and it seems you can extend your check-out time for a low fee. There is an all-night convenience store right across the street. My friends didn't even believe the good price when I told them.
I met a friend in TA to attend a couple of cultural events, and we just needed a cheap place to stay, but the hotel itself became a healing highlight of the trip!
There is nothing in particular that we didn't like.

The location is quite central, which makes it convenient to move around the area and access nearby places easily.
The room had a very strong humidity/mold smell, likely because the space feels like it is in a basement. The cleanliness could also be improved. When I was leaving, we found a tick on one of the beds, which was very unpleasant and concerning.
