About this house rental

Situated in Normandy Park, this attractive house for $279 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Welcome to the scenic beachfront community of Three Tree Point with panoramic views of Puget Sound framed by Mt. Rainier to the east, and the snow-capped Olympic Mountain Range to the west. Our property boasts a deluxe 1200 SF upper unit A plus 250 SF beachfront private cabana and large deck. The cabana/deck area is located on one side of a narrow community road and the house is located on the other. (There is a lower 650 SF unit B listed on VRBO as well. Check it out under listing # 734703 if you'd like.) Enjoy a luxurious experience in our open-concept upper unit with high ceilings, heated tile floors, large view windows across the entire front of the house, and a private entrance. Rooms include air conditioning; a full kitchen with high-end appliances; a restful living room with a flat-screen TV, gas fireplace, and a soft oversized down-filled sofa chaise; both casual and formal dining options; a peaceful sun-room; an upscale bathroom with a walk-in shower; washer/dryer and a loft bedroom with an incredibly comfortable Tempurpedic Cloud Supreme king bed – all rooms with sweeping views of Puget Sound, mountain ranges, marine wildlife, sunsets and a colorful shipping lane. And that’s just half of it! Also included is your own private cabana/deck area situated on the edge of Puget Sound with the same majestic views as the house. Take a few steps down from the deck to beach comb on a quiet sandy beach. Return after your beach walks to stretch out on oversized Adirondack chairs. The beach-side cabana offers an inside dining area with a kitchenette. The cabana can be completely enclosed, or you can opt to open two large view windows to experience the fresh ocean breezes or pull up a garage-style door for easy access between the cabana, deck, and the beach. This is truly the place to be! Air conditioning; lush landscaping; free covered parking; washer and dryer; an upscale bathroom stocked with plush towels, soaps, and blow dryer; kitchen with microwave, blender, French press, coffee grinder, Keurig coffee maker, electric kettle, dishes, flatware, cookware and spices; luxury linens; heated tile floors; a large bedroom closet with a generous supply of wooden hangers plus a vanity, large mirror and ample storage. Scenic walks are available in every direction. While enjoying your walk (5 min from property), stop by a quaint new coffee shop (Three Tree Point Store) with inside and outside dining offering food staples, coffee, sandwiches, pastries, wine, and beer and Friday night pizza. Our well-positioned neighborhood uniquely offers a quiet setting PLUS easy access to the airport, local attractions, specialty shops, grocery stores, restaurants, and food delivery services. Sea-Tac Airport is (10 min) away, downtown Seattle and Pike Place Market (20 min), a light rail station (10 min), sports stadiums (15 min), specialty shops and restaurants (5 min), and connections to several main highways for day trips (5-10 min). It’s important to note that due to the land configuration of our waterfront neighborhood, we do not experience airplane noise even though the airport is conveniently accessible. This unforgettable waterfront property offers an experience that truly captures the essence of beauty and relaxation. Come join us! Please note, that due to the quaintness of this small residential community, outside guests of guests are not allowed. This was a request that was made by local property owners, and I'd like to honor their request. I ask that you do the same. Thank you.

The location and the home were both beautiful; exactly what I was looking for. My first full day in Seattle was sunny (as it was for all of Thanksgiving week). It was so warm all week, and I was cooking, that there was no need during the day for the heat to be turned on and I had the windows open for fresh air and to cool it down. ' The property manager (who lives in the neighborhood) texted me and said she was out walking and noticed that I had the windows open and reminded me to turn off the heat when the windows were open. Oh, really? I stayed in the upstairs apartment and there was a downstairs unit. The couple that rented the downstair unit arrived two days after me and the property manager/owner texted me three more times and showed up at the front door once to remind me to be quiet as the noise was "untenable" (her word) for the people staying below me. I was so worried about making too much noise, I was concerned about getting up early on Thanksgiving day to cook for my son and daughter-in-law, and my two grandsons. My recommendation would be that if you are going to stay here, ensure that there will be no one staying below you during your stay, and if you are thinking of renting the downstairs unit, ensure that there will be no one staying above you. I felt like a teenager left at home and being constantly checked on while my parents were away. I found it intrusive and felt imposed upon the whole time I was there. Not good.

I wanted to find a place that would give me a full scope of what i thought being in the Pacific Northwest would be like (being that this was the first time every being there)... i've been to many cities and thought staying downtown Seattle would be no different... found this place and what a pleasant surprise... beautiful, relaxing and just perfect... not only did this place exceed all expectations, the city of Seattle and the surrounding area is now one of the best places i've ever visited... can't wait to go again... 5-Star!

Great Place!!!! Perfect for any couple. Only complaint would be the water pressure in the shower, which is almost not existent. The place and location made up for it.

A really lovely spot in a great neighborhood. The house is perfect for a couple looking to get away for a few days. Everything is new and very well appointed. The host is very helpful. Grab a bottle of wine, hang out on the deck by the water and enjoy!!
