The house is located on a very quiet part of the island. We hardly ever had other people on the beach with us and the views from the deck are amazing. The pool is VERY small (think max 5 people and no room for kids to jump) and the surrounding pool area is not well kept, weeds all over, uneven concrete kids kept stubbing their toes on, ants and wasps were abundant and the gate was hard to open and close. The area under the house is nice but again due to lack of upkeep is not overly useful. Inside the layout of the house is very nice but not well kept. Two of the sliding doors on the main floor were not even functional to open, all of the other sliding doors were covered in rust. The deck is an accident waiting to happen, the boards are very weathered and splinters are plentiful. The kitchen is fair sized but not stocked for the number of people the house holds. You have to run the dishwasher after every meal or you will run out of utensils and plates. The appliances are cheap and unkept, the refridgerator had a broken drawer, the dishwasher didn't get dishes clean even with pre-rinsing. The knives cannot even cut through a vegetable they are so dull. The number of cups isn't even enough for one per person unless you count the coffee mugs. The downstairs refrigerator didn't seal very well and would occasionally re-open itself. The curtains in all of the rooms are very dirty and in need of throwing out or at least cleaning. I tried to contact the management on the second day through the "tablet" on the counter but didn't ever receive a response before we checked out. There are absolutely no beach chairs or umbrellas as one typically finds in a rental unit. All in all it could be an amazing property, the location is so wonderful but the upkeep is terrible and the communication is zero. If they want to keep charging such high prices they should really think about taking better care of the property.
