Hello! Our family really enjoyed the Beach Seclusion! Upon entering, the house was very clean; the pool was wonderful & great for our granddaughters to dive; there were enough lounge chairs for everyone to enjoy. Loved the dining area seating for 10 people & selection of bedrooms! The primary bedroom was amazing - huge with a private balcony overlooking the pool; a see-through fireplace into the bathroom; Kitchen had pots, pans, cookie trays, bowls, dishes, cups, wine glasses, etc. Second refrigerator was perfect for overflow of drinks, food, etc. Parking in the driveway was no problem; accommodated a truck, 2 SUVs & a golf cart that seated six. A few observations for consideration: Pool needs a hand rail to assist getting down the steps into it; Dishwasher didn't dry the dishes & silverware; unloading, you had to dry; Need a new toaster - no bottom on toaster; it has a piece of aluminum foil on a plate; First bedroom on middle floor - bathroom shower door didn't shut all the way; Consider having a few small snack tables by the pool's lounge chairs for placing drinks, etc. instead of on the ground; Bedroom temperature next to primary bedroom was uncomfortable; needed a fan to keep it cool. Overall, our family truly had a very memorable time at the Beach Seclusion; we highly recommend this house if you're looking for a great pool & lots of space! Ron

This house has tremendous potential but requires extensive cleaning. The pros include its quiet cul de sac location, suitable layout for a large family & a private pool that we enjoyed all week. It's conveniently close to the beach & various activities. However, the house was extremely dirty upon our arrival, with food & spilled beverages on tables, countertops & cabinets. The carpets were in terrible condition, with hair, dirt, food & small toy beads. The bedding had urine & other stains, & the room with the dirty grout & moldy shower curtain had a malfunctioning AC. We immediately started cleaning after informing the property manager with photos, she apologized & provided new mattress pads, shower curtain & a vacuum cleaner. Unfortunately, the bedroom AC issue was never resolved & we had to purchase a fan to cope with the heat. Additionally, we had to locate & clean the BBQ grill grates found in the pool area.Garbage collection did not occur, requiring multiple calls for a trash can.The garage smelled of garbage & housed a ping pong table without balls or paddles, not being able to open overhead doors made it too hot to play in there. A poorly stocked kitchen with dangerously dull knives added to our disappointment. To improve the property & attract repeat customers remove carpet, repaint, deep clean, provide activity equipment & retrain or replace cleaning crew.We spent our first night cleaning, a disappointing start to our vacation. We left house cleaner than we found it

The house was perfect for our large family. It was spacious and had plenty of room for everyone. The pool was a wonderful bonus! The house is secluded at the end of a cul-de-sac so was quiet and private. We would definitely stay there again and recommend to our friends.

This house really has a lot going for it. Our family enjoyed staying here! Pros: It's very spacious. Easily accommodated our group of 15 and there would've been room for a few more as well. Having a private pool just for us was amazing. Plenty of deck and patio space. Outdoor shower (with warm water!) to rinse off after coming back from the beach. About a 5-minute walk to the beach with public beach access paths nearby. Located in a quiet, calm, family-friendly area, away from the crowds and hustle and bustle of the main Virginia Beach stretch. The boardwalk and main VA Beach area are only about a 20-minute drive if you do want to experience that vibe. There are plenty of restaurants, stores, and other places you might need or want to visit (including urgent care and the Virginia Aquarium) less than 20 minutes away. The house is managed by a rental company called Vacasa, and their staff was very quick to respond anytime I had a question. Cons: Carpet throughout the house is very worn, especially on the steps. Furniture, including some of the mattresses, could use replacing. The mattress on the pull-out couch in the upstairs main bedroom is literally just springs and unusable for sleeping. At least one of the mattresses downstairs is extremely squeaky and makes noise with the slightest movements. The kitchen is missing some things (no potholders or oven mitts). Overall we loved staying here. The more secluded Sandbridge Beach area was just right for us.

Nice big house and nice roomy kitchen with plenty of basics. (Bring own paper goods & cleaning supplies). Pool nice! The dining area is very tight for more than 10 people. All Bedrooms good and Master suite is huge! We had one bad fall on the first floor from the carpeted area to the refrigerator cement area, need safety warnings. Bunk beds on first floor need to be tightened or screwed into the wall: un-safe for children. Various clogged shower and moldy shower curtain. Called twice about outside gas grill. Planned on several outdoor grilled meals but the propane grill does not work (only gets about 200 deg). Patio area was not very clean when we moved in. Cigarette butts, dirt, debris. The French drain on the back patio by the chairs is totally clogged. The cornhole was fun but the bags “stink” and are torn and leaking. We noticed that one of the bins where the garbage bins are is full of beach/sand toys.
