This is our second time at the pig and sty and it’s become our favourite place. It’s absolutely perfect for an off grid get away. There are so many little details which are so thoughtful such as marshmallows for the fire and a bottle of local cider. We will definitely be back!

Clean and tidy, nice decor, well presented
Nice touches like pastry, apples, porridge and cider provided.
Mostly peaceful
Allocated parking
Great for a digital detox (no internet or tv)
Loud music/radio coming from the room next door which dampened the relaxed mood
Chairs provided very uncomfortable so had to sit on the bed (thankfully comfortable to sit on)

It was quiet, secluded, rustic and quirky. Everyone we met was so friendly and helpful.
I don’t think there was anything we didn’t like.

Very comfy, nicely laid out. This is an excellent place to stay for a couple of nights.
It’s very unique and interesting, the bed was really comfy.
