Disgusting rooms that are never maintained and make you glad you made it out alive. GROSS

SOOOOOOOOOO many things. I took pictures to show my friends just how awful the room is. The smoke alarm was not attached to the wall but instead was resting on a piece of furniture. The furniture itself looks like something out of the 70s. The table I used only had one leg and was resting on the board on the back. The chair was so heavy, I had to have my husband move it for me. The lampshade was so stained, the microwave shorted out when I pushed start, and the ceiling fan lightbulb was burned out. The toilet paper holder was barely hanging on the wall, so it was not even useful. (Just remove it, man!) The towel holder was really rusty, I'm kind of thinking I need a tetanus shot. Also, there was no outlet in the bathroom, so I had to heat up my curling iron in the main room and run to the bathroom to curl my hair. I cannot even tell you how I felt about sleeping in that room, but I did not have any bites, so I guess I faired pretty well.

HORRIBLE! Did not end up staying and had to open a fraud claim with my credit union to get my money.

Outdated dirty rooms. I walked into a dirty unmade room they "cleaned" it by making the beds and didn't even change the linens. Moved us to another room which was dirtier. Asked for a refund and went elsewhere. Then it took a month of talking between the motel my credit union and the fraud department to finally get my money back. Jokes on you budget inn! Got my money ha ha ha. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE 0/10 WOUOD NOT RECOMMEND TO MY WORST ENEMY!!!!

disappointing. Location for race track is good.

On arrival, and as advertised, there was supposed to be a fridge and microwave. He had to go find them and install. 1 40 w light bulb in ceiling fixture. 2 ancient 40w bulbs in wall units. No hairdryer, no desk to work on, no chair to sit and work on. Just a heavy old antique. Ancient carpet. No good.

It is an old building which is fine but the smoke detector was hanging from the ceiling with a grocery bag covering it... a bit alarming!

Larger room for a crowd...

Availability to accommodate the 3 of us in a large enough room to where we weren't on top of each other.

I accidently left the room key and was only given one so we had to wait for over an hour to be let in the room.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER AT A HOTEL

STAFF WAS FRIENDLY, BUT THAT'S IT

THE HOTEL IS APPARENTLY ABOUT 40 YEARS OLD, AND APPEARS TO HAVE NOT BEEN UPDATED SINCE THEN. WE WERE IMMEDIATELY HIT WITH THE SMELL OF URINE WHEN WE WALKED INTO OUR ROOM, AND ACTUALLY BOUGHT PLUG IN AIR FRESHNERS TO MAKE IT TOLERABLE. WIFI WAS NOT WORKING NOR WAS THE CABLE. WALLS ARE PAPER THIN, AND HAD TO LISTEN TO 2 MEN HAVING RELATIONS THE FIRST NIGHT, AND AGAIN THE NEXT DAY AFTER WE RETURNED FROM AN EVENT. NO SLEEP THE FIRST NIGHT... OUR RESERVATIONS WERE FOR 2 NIGHTS, BUT WE LEFT AND WENT SOMEWHERE ELSE SINCE THERE WAS NO AVAILABLE ROOM TO SWITCH TO.

Horrible smell I won’t stay there ever again not even for free, we went for a family gathering and some of our parties went back home, they rather drive for 2 hours and 40 minutes than staying in such a dirty place. Worse than an ashtray!!!

There is absolutely nothing nice about this hotel. Would NOT recommend.

There were hugs inside the hotel room-a roach was inside the microwave. There were fire ants all over the bathroom.

If this was the class of place I wanted would be a high choice; no frills but people who care.

We stayed here during our evacuation from Irma, and rode out a Cat 1 in Highlands county avoiding much worse forecast weather at our home. The facilities were as described. We lost power, lost internet, lost cable, and had a safe stay. While the facilities are not five star, the owner/operator certainly is, assistance and attitude under difficult circumstances was outstanding. We had a dog, no problem. Housekeeping adapted. If this is the class of facility you are looking for, you won't find people who care more about their guests.

Never Again

Price and convenience to highway 27. We were building a home in Lake Placid and had to stop in Lowes, Harbor Freight, and Home Depot on the way back.

We got in late the night before. They forced everyone out at 10am. We got a call at 9:00 that we had 30 mins to get out, where they backed off to 60 minutes. Never again.
