This hotel is located at Man Thai Beach, which is slightly north of the main (busy) other beach. So in terms of location it is very well placed for the beach and a number of (seafood) restaurants. Also there are a lot of mini-markets close by where one can buy all manner of necessities. The room was spacious enough, not withstanding the negative points below.
I had a room with a balcony, but the addition of a chair(s) and dmall table would have rendered it more useful. Although the style of the hotel is "leafy" , it detracts somewhat from the view. Privacy on the balcony is quite poor - on one side, the balconies are only separated by shrubbery - part if the other side balcony can be seen from the room (,i.e., poor Privacy for them !). The table attached to the wall is very narrow and could barely hold anything. The stool used for the table is heavy ceramic - nice design, but hardly practical.
