About this cottage rental
A perfect getaway spot, on a peninsula on the West River just across from Galesville. Houses on the point are mostly waterfront and neighbors are friendly and quiet. Say hi or just enjoy the sunset from the porch or the dock. Kitchen is fine for cooking, though nearby restaurants in Deale and Galesville are tempting and Annapolis is only 20 minutes away. If you are a boater, the Bay awaits! Galesville is even closer by water and you can kayak to dinner. I love going to this peaceful place, and I hope you will too.
The house is available at reduced rates during the colder months, a perfect spot for a sabbatical or writing that book. It's cozy in winter with baseboard heat, and the fireplace works.

We so enjoyed our stay at your lovely and very cozy home. The location was ideal for our travels around the area. It was wonderfully peaceful being right on the water and we watched sunsets from the end of the dock. Would definitely recommend to others. Thank you for this great experience!

This is an incredible property for a weekend getaway. Mary made sure we had everything we needed and the house was SO charming, clean, and cozy. Comfortable bed, incredible views, friendly neighborhood…We had an amazing trip!

What a beautiful place to watch the sun go down! House is adorable, great owner communication. Book this place and take a bottle of wine to the end of the pier and just lean into the beauty! Will be back!

Was disappointed at the cleanliness of the property (mice droppings). Bed was very uncomfortable due to two mattresses being put together. We took out the AC filters and cleaned them. This home has great potential, just needs a little updating.
