Terrible and very disconcerting.

In the emails, I was told the wrong cabin name and couldn’t gain access, until I phoned the management company! They then told me, it had been changed and blamed Booking.com. The main huge concern, was that I was unable to lock main door, at night, from the inside. The door was also very stiff and difficult to open and close. As a lone female traveller, I felt very vulnerable. The cabins are in a very remote area and I was the only occupant for the first night. I complained the next day, however, nothing was done during my 3 day stay. The outside light was not working, which did not help with my vulnerability. The cabin was not particularly clean. Dust and cobwebs. The bed linen and towels, looked grey and not particularly clean. Pillows were poor quality. No coat hangers, on rail. The shower head was broken, so it was impossible to stand under the shower. Black mould, around shower tray and a rusted drainage cover. There was only one teaspoon and limited other utensils etc. The outside space is not dog friendly, as it is not fenced in. I was very disappointed, in the cabin and actually left a day early, due to the security issues. All of these problems, have been mentioned before, in different reviews and obviously nothing has been done? I would NOT recommend Sunset Cabins at all!!! After my complaint, I was offered 10% discount on my next stay!!!!! As if I would even consider returning???? This company is just after a quick return. I suggested, I partial refund and this was not addressed at all.

The whole experience was awful!

Stunning little getaway, nestled away in heart of Devon. Lovely unit, perfect surroundings and all you need for a getaway.

Outdoor area was a little unkept, but didn’t affect stay.

Great location ,

The fact it didn’t have any AC or fans as we visited on a hot weekend so there wasn’t any air . Also the bed at the top wasn’t made and it was dirty with cobwebs and dust along with cobwebs and dust in the whole property ,
