I had a very good stay at Szafarnia Hostel in Gdańsk. Everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. The place was clean, comfortable, and well organized, and everything was as expected. Overall, a pleasant experience and I would happily stay here again. Highly recommended!

The room is very spacious, it's a 12-bed dorm. On the first day, only 4 people checked in, and on the second day, there were 6. I also really like that the bathroom is outside the room, so I can come back in the evening and take a shower without disturbing anyone.
Having good roommates requires a bit of luck. During my two-night stay, there was a girl who kept turning on the exhaust fan at three or four in the morning, waking me up every time.

Location was best, place was quiet and clean, staff were friendly (Hey, Victoria!). BEST value for money. The breakfast that was included was very good.
Well, I wish the shared kitchen was a place you could actually cook in. They only had microwave, kettle, and fridge; and a hard boiled egg cooker. I stayed there for five days, and for me it was kind of a disappointment.
Also, having the airco on 24 / 7 was sometimes inconvenient, especially during the night.

Perfect location, clean, comfortable beds, cheap alternative to a hotel. Generally clean, friendly staff, they even opened the roof terrace for me to take some photos!
First experience in a hostel and as an adult solo traveller, I wouldn’t repeat it, simply because sharing with another 7-8 people means there’s someone coming and gong until 3-4am, rustling through bags, zipping/unzipping cases, dropping stuff, snoring, coughing….bottom line, I didn’t sleep, but that’s what shared accommodation means, I suppose.
