Very central, met our needs, some small tweaks could make it so much better
Hard beds, people banging doors shakes whole building, small towels, need an adjustable shower mount and some hooks and bench space in bathroom for clothes, shelves in bedroom. A washing machine would be good.

Location is amazing. The place kept spirit and tradition from past decades. It is really authentic spot in the center of Gdansk.

Alice in Wonderland Hostel Great location, unforgettable cast
Perfect location right in the center. Super friendly and helpful reception, very clean bathrooms and common areas. Mattresses a bit hard but okay.
Now... the guests. They deserve their own Netflix series.
Despite the clear rules, some guests live by their own rules. Staff even texted me to ask if there was a problem, but I decided to just enjoy the show.
We had Mr. Bald in the corner treating his acute bronchitis with hot tea all night long - very effective, very loud. At 4 AM he discovered that the wall is the perfect spot for phone calls.
And then Him. The Orange-Haired Guy who works at the Butterfly Museum. An icon. He spent the whole night listening on loop to Queen Victoria's greatest hits, using it as white noise / rain sounds. Respect.
The only conflict: I closed the window because it was freezing, he reopened it because fresh Baltic air is healthy. We slept like popsicles.
Funny, central, clean. If you want total silence, maybe not. If you want a story to tell, book it.
