Warm welcome. Friendly staff. Pedro was so helpful and kind. Breakfast was fresh, tasty and filling. Views were superb. Close to the historic centre.

Cedros Nature House was a great place to stay on the final leg of our Portugal holiday. The property is great, relaxed, stylish, clean and welcoming. The view is amazing too. The staff were great and very friendly, and the breakfast was outstanding.
Be prepared to walk hills - this is not an issue with the property though, it's just how Sintra is. We didn't mind, but some might. We would have liked access to a fridge in the property too - for cold drinks by the pool.

First and foremost, I would like to strongly emphasize a major safety concern regarding the property.
The guesthouse is located on a private road, next to a heavily secured—arguably excessively secured—residence. The neighboring house is protected by attack dogs, which are large, aggressive, and visibly overexcited animals. They are frequently seen jumping over the fence, which is topped with barbed wire in very poor condition, making it plausible that one of these dogs could one day escape.
The owners of that property come and go without any apparent concern that guests from the guesthouse may be using the private road, and that one of their dogs could potentially attack them.
While the guesthouse has charm and offers a pleasant view, it does not justify the price paid: damaged bathroom sealant, a very basic room, and an average breakfast—details that fall short of what one would expect for this price, even though the staff are attentive and eager to please.
In short, this stay would not necessarily be bad if one overlooked the surrounding environment, but it does not represent good value for money.
