Good location. Easily used Grab to get around. Nice restaurants nearby - includes international cuisines. Good Vietnamese coffee and pho during breakfast.
Credit card terminal was not working and we were advised to pay in cash - a hassle since we have to withdraw and incur additional fees. We were gently reminded or nudged daily to pay. The credit card terminal was fixed a few days later which solved our payment issue. Another minor issue was a leak in the toilet. This was resolved a day after it was reported. There were ants in the room. We solved it by not leaving unsealed food on the counter - not reported this challenge. Better rotation of menu during breakfast.

Location was good, close to shops and right on the beach next to ocean beach club.
Cant complain about the price!
Very large bed! Could do with more pillows though
Balcony was very nice
Doesn't seem like a very touristy hotel, got a lot of dirty looks from all the other guests staying there! Lots of large familys who don't seem to have any respect for anyone else. Was kept awake till nearly midnight by screaming children, loud music, and all with their doors wide open as if they were at home. I asked them 3 times to keep it down before I went and got a member of staff. Even after that they didn't listen. Then come 6am loud banging and shouting. Our room was right next to the stairs which didn't help, however I don't think that really matters as at one point I could hear a family which were 2 floors above me. So the sound really carries here.
Also our bathroom shower door wasnt great, it wouldn't shut properly and the drain didn't drain very well so it would flood quite quickly.
Breakfast was very poor to be honest. Not much variety at all. We got there 45 minutes before it finished and everything was basically gone and they were not replenishing.
