Step inside, and you will immediately be greeted by the warm wood accents, large, picturesque windows viewing the river, and the comfortable furnishings that await in the living area. The two-story layout will give every guest a sense of privacy when needed, yet its open design is perfect for guests to gather around the large dining room table, perfect for meals or game nights. The deck overlooks the Rio Grande River and is ideal for morning coffee or a glass of wine when the sun begins to disappear behind the trees. Bed Configuration: Main Bedroom - Queen (Main Floor) 2nd Bedroom - Queen (2nd Floor) 3rd Bedroom - Queen (2nd Floor) 4th Bedroom - 2 Twin Beds (Main Floor) What's nearby: Though this getaway offers a perfect mix of privacy and seclusion, you will have the conveniences of town within a hop, skip, and jump from your front door. When everyone builds up an appetite from hiking or river activities, local hubs such as Two Rivers BBQ Restaurant, Tavern & Coffeehouse (a local favorite), Ramones Mexican, and Mountain Pizza & Taproom will hit the spot in nearby South Fork. Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes to stay dates, including changes that result in a shortened stay, are not permitted within 30 days of arrival, and any will result in a penalty. Cancellations or changes made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date forfeit the entire reservation amount, while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days before your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days before the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.

This house was perfect for our ski vacation! The drive to wolf creek was only about 20 minutes. We had plenty of room for the 7 of us. The entry room was a nice bonus to keep our shoes/boots and ski gloves dry/warm for the next day. The kitchen had a great selection of seasonings, appliances, pots, wine glasses, etc. The 2 separate living areas gave us plenty of room to spread out! We would highly recommend staying here!

This property was a hidden gem. Despite it being off the main drag, the floor to ceiling windows in the back provides an oasis. The views of sunrise and sunsets were beautiful. We were very pleased with the communication with VRC and the cleanliness of the home. The kitchen was well- stocked with all of the essentials ...and more. Our family skied at Wolf Creek and this property was an easy 20 min drive. This property has a “warm room” for your ski gear that was fantastic. Don’t overlook this property for your visit. Just do your research since it is a small town.

The location for a guys hunting trip was perfect! Being so close to the river for occasional fishing was really fun!! After a long day in the mountains, we had the best trip hanging out at night in the cozy retreat. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen accommodated all our meal prep. Thanks for a fun get away!

We were very pleased with the home! Property was as advertised and well stocked with everything we needed. Communications with the property manager were great. It was lovely. Right on the South Fork of the Rio. Sits on the main road through town but traffic noise isn't too noticeable. Easy access to lots of activities. Kitchen very well stocked. We'd love to come back again!

This really was the perfect place to stay for our wolf creek ski trip. Despite blizzard conditions, the driveway was perfectly plowed for us, the home was warm and cozy, and it had everything we needed for our big family. The location is amazing, right on the river, right across the street from the pizza shop, right next-door to the ski rental place. It was really nice being so centrally located and not way up on the mountain. The house was clean and well furnished, and the owners were easy to communicate with, although we didn’t really have to much because everything was laid out so nicely. We will definitely be back!

The home was beautifully decorated, clean, spacious and quiet even though it was just off the main road in South Fork. We would probably prefer something a bit more secluded/private for our next stay.The only reason it wasn't given 5 stars is upon arrival there were some laundry, cleaning issues I conveyed to the property management and took care of while I was there. Then,2 large deliveries arrived for the owner 2 days a part during our stay. We notified the property management, and were happy to move the first very large box into the house due to weather concerns. The next day when we returned from an all day outing and another delivery had been made but was way too large for us to move at all. We notified the property management so they were aware as we were set to leave the next day. The property manager was very apologetic and the owner relayed his apologies as well. It's not that we minded helping out, but it was our vacation and not things you typically want to be dealing with especially since it's only once a year we get to go there.

Staying here was a relaxing experience. Sitting on the back deck, listening to the river that is RIGHT THERE was awesome. Go to the front of the house and there is easy access to a convenience store, grocery store, and places to eat. Don’t miss Tiny Timbers for breakfast! Once we found them, we kept going back. Wonderful atmosphere and a multitude of coffe, tea, smoothie options. We used this house as our home base for other day trips we wanted to take. Good experience for us.

My family and I have stayed many different places through the years around creede...never have we been as close to the river as this. We have already reserved for next year! We loved eating on the deck and hearing the river. Even though the house is centrally located it feels secluded and private. It was spotlessly clean and well equipped. My family enjoyed fishing right behind the house and caught really nice fish...it was fun sitting on the deck watching them. I highly recommend this place!

Perfect family cabin
